  1. The problem is likely your ISP having the old IP cached in their DNS. The best thing to do would be wait until the domain is working in their DNS. You can try pinging the site to see what IP it is returning. You could also set of a HOSTS file with the correct IP address for the domain and it should work as well but is more trouble.
  2. Interchange is an e-commerce script that is run on some servers. If you are not running Interchange it will not affect you. If you notice it down it would be best to submit a Help Desk ticket (clicking on the link at the top of this page) so that we can restart it.
  3. Access through the IP address will not be recorded correctly in the CPanel log files so that stats will not show.
  4. We do not offer SSH on any accounts.
  5. We would need access to your account to be sure there is no problem and so that would need to be sumitted to the Help Desk by clicking on the link at the top of this page. There are a couple of things to note. The user1 inbox in their folder and the user1 inbox in the domain.com/user1 folder are actually links to the same information so they do not use double the space. There may be some mail in the spam folder if Spam Assassin is enabled that could account for the space. The inbox in the root mail folder is the inbox for your domain email. System messages will go there.
  6. I would suggest submitting a Help Desk ticket. There is either a problem woth the DNS of the domain or with the nameservers.
  7. Please submit a Help Desk ticket by clicking on the link at the top of this page and we can have a look. Without knowing the domain name, etc. there is not much we can do but speculate.
  8. We did post updates on the server move in the forums and an email was sent to all clients on the server. Be sure that your contact email address is current by clicking on the link in CPanel where it says "Please update your contact information here." (Click on the word "here.") As Don mentioned you can also use the domain name as the ftp host.
  9. The IP you are using is the old IP address of Server 26. It has changed to 209.152.177.32 after the server move some weeks back.

These files are part of the Front Page extensions. If you are not using Front Page you can uninstall them in your CPanel to remove them.
  11. Cold Fusion server components are not supported but I believe NetObjects will allow creating html code, php code, etc. which are supported.
  12. We have a lot of folks that use MT and have no problems. MT is not real efficient when the blog gets real big so it is best not to rebuild more frequently than is necessary. Image::Magick is installed on all servers.
  13. I moved my site here in January of 2003 after having moved it in December to a different host that was down about half the time I was there (only a couple of weeks.) My site has rarely been down when I have tried to access it and most of the time when it was down it was due to my ISP's problems and not server problems. I just realized I started working here a year ago yesterday. Time flies when you are having fun!
  14. Make sure you enter the username in the form of username@domain.com and not just username for all accounts you set up in CPanel.
  15. From looking at the error message it looks like you have omitted the .com at the end of the username for info@battleworksstudios.com somewhere. I would try deleting the account from Outlook and setting it up again if you don't see the error in the set up.
  16. I have disabled the script on the server. If you try and access it now it will return a 500 Error.
  17. The original email arrived at 8:27pm on April 22 and I answered it personally at 8:34pm. I know they received the reply because they then emailed me directly the next day. I did not receive it until last night since I was not working during the day. I sent a response then as well and resent the Welcome Email. Seven minutes is a pretty good response time. They did not contact us until several days had passed after signing up. The email they used to contact us was not the same one used to place the order. The account was set up shortly after signing up but they apparently did not get the email sent to a Yahoo account. We have no control over that.
  18. I'm sorry your friend is unhappy with the service but I would suggest sending a Private Message to one of the staff rather than posting in the open forums. Before we can help determine the problem we need more information. You have provided nothing for us to go on. We would need to know the domain name, email address used to sign up, and your friend's name. It would also help to have any ticket numbers for the Help Desk. This information is better provided in private. There are a number of possibilities as to why your friend believes we have not responded. One of the most common problems is having a typo in the email address used to send the message. The best place to inquire on the problem is the Help Desk link at the top of this page. I can guarantee you that if a ticket was sent in it was answered and probably within a short period of time.
  19. If we park it on your domain here you would be able to create email accounts for either domain name. Also, if domain xyz.com is forwarded to abc.com from the registrar I believe the browser will show abc.com as the address. If it is parked it would show xyz.com.
  20. Please submit a Help Desk ticket and someone will correct the issue.
  21. Gallery should recognize the path to ImageMagick. I just installed the newest version on one of my accounts.
  22. Glad it is working.
  23. It may be that your ISP has started blocking port 25 to external mail servers. You can try changing the port to port 26 in Outlook under the advanced options. You can also try removing the mail. in front of the smtp host and just use your domain name or IP address.
  24. The options in CPanel are only enabled on Reseller accounts. To park a domain you should change the nameservers at the registrar to ns1.totalchoicehosting.com and ns2.totalchoicehosting.com and then open a Help Desk ticket and let us know the domain you wish to have parked. Someone there will park it for you.
  25. I answered in the Help Desk ticket but as I mentioned there I was able to create a folder using CoreFTP. You would need to be sure that there is no setting in CuteFTP that is preventing you from creating directories. You can try out CoreFTP for free at coreftp.com.
