Hi Michael, Welcome to the forums. No, it's unlimited Yes. If you are expecting a lot of email - and a lot of use of your suto-responders, then you might start triggering some of our anti-spam alarms. Hence you may want to open a ticket at our help desk (link at the top of the page) and talk directly about your requirements. I always find carts a very personnel issue depending on your exact requirements. If you specify them, you can certainly get a view from fellow users here. The ones installable from cpanel are a very easy install - you then just need to add your products and prices. Yes We allow adult sites, but none of our server IP's are blocked because of adult sites, spam etc. Hence you should not have a problem on any server. We balance loads on all our servers - so generally you do not get to choose which server you are on. As you rightly say, you can not please all of the people all of the time. I am not going to make an analysis of that individual, other than to say there are two sides to every argument. I suggest you have a look round the forums here, and the rest of the comments on findmyhosting.com. You can also try us out, using IM (Instant messenging), live chat, or our help desk. You will see that the bulk of the comments we get are positive - but there will always be beople who dont like our service (for example people found to be spamming whos accounts we terminate).

Spamassassin -- Scores & User Tests
TCH-Andy replied to toddcurry's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
HI, You need to look at the full headers of the email to work out where things are going wrong. Alternatively - open a ticket at the help desk, and leave a copy of the emails on the server, so that we can have a look at it. -
I had a quick look at the error logs on the server - it looks as if the email address you were forwarding to was incorrectly set. The ones sent yesterday and today have been forwarded correctly from the server. I would check spam filters etc if you have not received them.

Getting Dada Mail To Work With Cpanel
TCH-Andy replied to antandsons's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
That error is uaually because you uploaded it in the wrong format (ascii / binary) or you have edited it, and got blank lines at the end. -
Hi Lisety, There are a whole range of stats / tracking packages available, at a range of prices, including those you mention. The problem becomes what package offers the best all round stats for everyone here. We had a survey a while back, and most people vited for AWstats. There are no plans to change that. Having said that, you can still use alternative packages, either downloading the raw log file for analysis, or using scripting on the server - with a package that best fits your requirements.

Hi, Welcome to the forums It will be in your welcome email. If you can't find it, let us know the domain name, and we can tell you what it is. If I have the correct site for you, then it's 72.9.244.74

Hi lorph Welcome to the Forum Thanks for the info. As an alternative, you can simply upload the mySQL file to the server using FTP, then open a ticket at the help desk, and ask us to load it into your database for you.

From the error message it looks as if you are trying to use the cpanel username. Have you set up an account me@mysite.net ? You need to use the full email address ( me@mysite.net ) for the username. If you are still having problems, open a ticket at the help desk - and we'll look into it.
-
Hi, You really need to set up an account me fot mysite.net - then it should work. If you are using the cpanel username - then strictly the email address for that would be me@serverxx.totalchoicehosting.com where xx is your server number. Or, if you have the default for all undirected email set to your cpanel username, then all mail sent to your domain, which has not got a corresponsing email address, will go to the cpanel username account. Personally, I always set up a real account, and never use the cpanel username one.

Hi Paulo, The difference is only really disk space, and bandwidth. The semi-dedicated is much bigger.

File shows on one page but not another

Then I think you would need to convert the wav files to MP3, and link to those instead. -
I found TotalChoice Hosting via google. I was looking for hosting, and found there was a really wide choice. Hence I defined some criteria for defining what I thought a good host would be for me - open, honest, inexpensive, excellent value for money, approachable / friendly, support available in the middle of the night US time. It didn't take me long to narrow the list down a lot, and found that TCH answered all my points - so I gave it a try. I've never regreted that decision

Hi Gary, Welcome to the Forums Are you just getting the error on send? because the error message is on recieve (POP3)? From the error message I think you the option for Secure Password Authentification checked - you need to uncheck it.

Hi CoFFeeMoNsTeR, Welcome to the forums Have you refreshed your browser completely? all the links I followed worked fine (bullets, engines, sponsor, mood). -
Correct cajunman4 life You create a directory, password protect it, and only http will read the password protection file (not FTP).

Welcome to the forums. We operate on Linux servers. You can use PHP, Python, Perl but we do not support server side Java. We do allow emails to be sent, although it depends on the number you want to send. The best way to answer the specifics is to open a ticket at the help desk (link at top of page) to the sales department (put "none" in where it asks for username / password), and describe your requirements in detail, and we'll go through it with you.

Hi Sherie, They can have their own domain, with it's own cpanel control and everything. So yes - they will have http://myclient.com
-
If you've already signed up, then I would open a support ticket at our help desk (link at top of page) for the billing department, and we should be able to help out there.
-
Hi, Welcome to the forums. The easiest is if they sign up, if they are paying. The distance is not an issue.

Hi Matthew, Welcome to the forum Scheduled downtimes are probably once every couple of years - to replace a hard disk, or move the server ... apart from the occasional reboot (which will take a few mins) with over 100 servers - do you mean the last time ever on the last time on a given server. Overall server availability is over 99.9% On the average server - probably once every few months. However, it is monitiored every second - and hence soon back online. That depends how poorly written your PHP script is Generally a php include is not a problem at all. However, if you have lots of them, including from external points - then that would cause issues. Quad Xeon processors - 2.4GHz - so very fast I'm not sure I understand the question - do you mean routing issues ? Or lag where ? We do not include fantastico - no From our Acceptable Use Policy; Basically, as fast as your ISP connection allows.

Hi, You can not host multiple domains on a $4/month account - no. Add-on domains are not allowed on such accounts. You will need to open a ticket at our help desk (link at top of page) for us to transfer your account - we will need your old login details as well as your new login details.
