I should have been more expicit in one answer - the servers do not have quota's enabled on individual FTP accounts, purely on the domain. It depends how much you know and trust them as to how much access you provide. If they are just the friend of a friend of a friend... then yes, I would ask them to send me the files, and I'd upload them. If they uploaded some warez software for example, it would be your account that was terminated, not theirs. If they are someone you know and trust, then I'd happily give them an FTP account so they could upload their files. I'd monitor the bandwidth etc on that subdomain (easy enough in cpanel), and let them know if things started getting a bit high, but with a demo site for a few clients, I'd not expect high bandwidth.

Hi, You can not set up quota's for an FTP accound under cpanel. Showcasing a demo site, using your domain name, should be fine - but note that pointing a separate domain name to the files in a subdirectory would be against out policy - I'm assuming that you just wanted to upload the files though, and use your own domain name

That is a current "feature" in cpanel - if you try and view the contents of an image. However, if you look down a little on the right, you will find a link to the "File URL:" if you click that, it should show up fine.

You will need to define everything in the same system.... At the moment, you have the main table defined as 700 wide, and centred in the page. However, you define your layed text as an absolute position from the top left corner. Hence, it looks fine if someone has a window 700 pixels wide, but not if it is any different. Which is why I would probably start by using a background image to the table cell - as then it is in the same place, wherever the table is centred.

Hi Ori, Welcome to the forums. You can use a table structure (in the same way that Fireworks has) and define a background image for the cell. Then place the text into the cell. You will need to specify the padding correctly to get the effect you want, but it should be fine. The alternatives would be to use layers, or CSS and position the graphic that way. There may be other routes (I'm sure someone will let you know the ones I've missed) but those are my initial three thoughts of ways to do it.

HI PGG-Tom, I think you can only do it via a script - if I understand what you want correctly. Phpmyadmin does not support loading the file from the server itself (or at least it didn't last time I checked). However, you can upload the information using a phpscript to load it into the database. Would that help ?

Hi, Welcome to the forums When you login to your webmail - make sure of 2 things; 1. you login using the full email address birgit@birgiteqoa.com and the password for that email account (not your cpanel username and password) 2. In the setup for the webmail - make sure the "from" address is set to birgit@birgiteqoa.com (it should be by default if you login as (1) above.
