My first guess would be a firewall, blocking access. Try looking at the log file you get from SmartFTP (in the bottom window usually) and it should tell you where it fails. Is he using the domain name after the username you created to give an email type username for login (user@domain.com) ?

Hi Cygni Because of continued problems with spammers attempting to exploit the cgi-sys install of formmail and cgiemail they have generally been disabled on all servers. It looks like there was part of it enabled on your server. There are a number of alternative, safe form mail scripts which can do the job you want, will be more secure, and will enable you to set the subject properly.

Amongst other valid options you can have; TARGET="_blank" This target will cause the link to always be loaded in a new blank window. This window is not named. Hi Dean, Correct, but I add the one line at the top of the file (before the doctype and head). Yes, this would work, but I don't see any real benfit. I was assuming you were doing it to try and reduce / stop linking - and it wouldn't help for that. You can turn indexing off, or add an index.htm file into your images directories, so that people can't see the index of files of course.

Hi, I think the links are wrong, much as Lise has suggested. The image "servicios/BD14897_.gif" does not exist - hence you are getting an error. It looks as if you have uploaded the files into the same directory not the "servicios" directory. Also, on the server the directory is called "Servicios" with a capital S - and linux is case sensitive.

Hi Dean, I use a bit of PHP code, there is a copy on this stop spiders stealing thread . The code is about half way down. This works simply by checking if someone is grabbing thae pages to fast - if so, then they are blocked. If they are surfing at a normal rate - then they get the files without problem. You could also block the specfic wget commands etc by checking for them in the same script - and blocking the page in that case. Using relative links will not help, if I understand correctly what you are suggesting.

Hi Stacy, You include items from several other domains on your page. This means that when someone tries to go to your page, it has to go to all the other domains to get content. This will inevitably slow down loading of your site. When one of those sites is not available (as is currently the case with the tag-board) then your site will be very slow loading, because for each link it tries to load content from the unavailable site. Using these links, is also stealing bandwidth from the tag-board site (unless you have permission to do so). If you have permission for the content, then it is much better to copy the Java and images you want onto your account, you will not then get the problems when the other site is down, and your site will load much faster.

Hi, Yes, you are making sense Usually it is in the "hosts" section where you can define the nameservers, and you will have to tell them the IP address of the nameservers. I don't use opensrs.net - so I'm not sure about the exact location in their system. Looking at their FAQ So you should be able to create them in that section.
