Hi David, Welcome to the forums Most of what your require is standard here. We do not offer Fantastico, and whilst we do backups of our servers, you are ultimately responsible - so you need to do your own backups. On other issues - we don't offer dual 2.8 Gigahertz (GHz) Xeon because we use Quad Xeon rather than dual We do not offer unlimited bandwidth - for under $15 (your requirement) you can have 45GB of bandwidth - see our hosting plans Mambo is fine, and you will see very little problem because the servers are in the US.

I'd come back to why you suspect an image is being linked? what is the URL of concern? Ultimately you will need to go through your raw log file. You can either do it manually, or with a log file analyser (you can always google for "log file analyzer" which will give you a number of free / trail packages). You can then look at either the number of hits on specific images, or the download bandwidth for specific images. Where there is a lot of hits, you can check where they are being downloaded from, or the referrer.

Why Does Firefox Try To Open Phorm.php When I Submit A Form?
TCH-Andy replied to mrcolossus's topic in Installing Scripts
Hi mtcolossus, Welcome to the forums Is this on the server? Or on your computer? On the server it is /usr/bin/php Can you give us a link to the test form? -
We do onsite, and offsite backups. This should not change how you do backups though. If your data is important to you, then take backups yourself

Welcome to the forums You can also upload the .sql file to the server, and ask us to restore it for you if you have problems. Yes, I would expect such a high compression ratio Yes, it will prompt you for which database through php. For cpanel, it goes by the database name.
-
Welcome to the forum luckyvi Set the permissions to 755, and open a ticket at the help desk, and ask us to change the owner of the uploads directory to "nobody".
-
welcome to the forums Beroc Have you checked your error log in cpanel - to see if that gives any more information ? I would also turn full error reporting on in PHP, and see what that gives.
-
Rick, Open a ticket at the help desk (link at the top of the page) and we'll take a look, there is nothing we can do via the forum (as we need to know your domain name, access details etc)

Domain/site Redirection Question
TCH-Andy replied to kellybellydotnet's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
On a reseller account, that is fine. As Rob says, "Go for it", it will be not be a problem as you are on a reseller -
Hi Carin, 1. Dutch language is not a problem. We host sites in most languages. 2. You need to give 1 month (30 days) notice of cancellation. 3. Well over 99% uptime over the past year or two.
-
Hi, yes you can doenload raw log files. You can also set an option in cpanel to keep them every month.

Thanks for your kind words

We do allow constructive, negative feedback. What we do remove is unproductive public arguments, that of of no benefit to anyone. In terms of the topic title, we do occasionally change these to be more useful to people searching the forum. If someone else finds themsleves in a similar situation are they more likely to search for "my girlfriend lost everything" or "content deleted"? In my view it is the latter, hence the topic titile was changed. I do understand that you are angry and upset by this at the moment, but to ensure this also does not turn into an unproductive public argument, I would ask you not to continue to post the same arguments that you have already made.

Glad you have it sorted, Thanks for letting us know the final solution you came up with

Welcome to the forums From the MT site I assume you have uploaded it, changed the permissions on the directories, so the next step is www.example.com/cgi-bin/mt/mt.cgi where example.com is your domain name (and this assumes you have installed in the default directory.

You can either put a redirect on that referrer (as Bruce suggests) or you should be able to do hotlinking on the single file by editing the .htaccess and adding something like; >RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^$ RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://mywebsite.com/ [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://mywebsite.com [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.mywebsite.com/ [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.mywebsite.com [NC] RewriteRule file.wmv - [F,NC]

We follow the ARIN (American Registry for Internet Numbers) guidelines when assigning dedicated IP's to customers. Sites with a legitimate reason (such as SSL) have dedicated IP addresses, other accounts have shared IP addresses. Of course this is only within a server - a dedicated server will have a dedicated IP address, and usually dedicated IP addresses for the nameservers.
-
Welcome to the forums Generally, all accounts are on a shared IP.

Never feel foolish about that. There was a brief issue with mysql - so the service was stopped and restarted. Whilst it was stopped, you would have seen no databases - they would all appear gone - only to reappear once it was restarted.
-
That is only true if you purchase a number of years now (say you block purchase 10 years)
-
It works fine for me to, hence I saw no problem to fix.
-
Looking further, I found the third ticket from you - where everything was cleared up, and hence the other two tickets closed. Anyway, it all looks as if it was cleared up many hours ago, and your site working As a note for future, and others, multiple tickets often leads to confusion and hence is generally best avoided.
-
It's relatively quiet now, as it's overnight in the US, so I thought I'd investigate. I'm assuming that this is the site in your profile. It is up and running fine (and was when I first looked) I did manage to find 2 tickets from you, but oddly both were closed. Hence nobody on the help desk would have noticed them. I'll follow up via those tickets - since your site is working

Pointing An Existing Feed Url At Q New Feedburner Url
TCH-Andy replied to ramone_kalsaw's topic in Blogs
As far as I'm aware, it depends completely on your setup. For example, if you have set up the Expression Engine to be in the folder "ramone" then it would be in that folder (ie /ramone/index.xml).
