  1. Thank you guys! The help desk was able to fix this almost instantly! If anyone wants to know: There was a filter set on the .htaccess file of the account.
  2. Is has content, the strange part to this is that if I rename it to index2.php [or any variation], it works, but only if you know you're suppose to type in "/index2.php."
  3. I moved the previous index.htm file into a different folder I'd created, this xoops index extention is .php, and it's intact, and in the correct root folder...
  4. Hey, Didn't know where to look for help on this so maybe someone here can point me in the right direction or can explain what I've done wrong? I've installed the newest version of xoops on my website and I am trying to get it up and running, but after installation, I can reach all my administration options, except...My index page displays as a blank screen. I've move over my old index.htm file to a different folder in the Cpanel and have upload a few things I thought may help, but still no success. Has anyone experienced this before or know what I'm talking about? Help!
  5. Well, that I do understand. This last invoice was settled yesterday (Friday) though, during normal business hours. Now having said that, shouldn't it have been resolved during those business hours? I mean, it was up and running in the morning, but shut down by midday, forward. Almost like a click of a switch...
  6. Several inquiries = two tickets open and yes I've been trying to get someone to respond and resolve this, but I don't get an answer. Technically, I guess you can say I've 'bumped,' since no one answers the first inquiry, after hours of wait...Guess I'll have to open more tickets then and see where this goes. Thanks zilla.
  7. I probably shouldn't bring it up here, but since no one at the help desk is helping (not trying to sound rude), I thought I'd see what you recommend. I had a delay in payment for my hosting plan, that was paid yesterday (with confirmation), but my site is still down. I still get this messege: The site you are attempting to access is temporarily unavailable. If you are the site owner please contact your system administrator. Well...I've contacted Administration and Billing... It's been a complete day now, and several ticket inquiries, but no go. What do I do? Can you help?
  8. Just curious, ever since moving over to TCH, I haven't received any emails at all, from anyone. I've sent myself several emails from my hotmail account and it just gets bounced back. How do I know if it's set up correctly and/or was there something I was suppose to do? I'm using Horde. ~Thanks
  9. Whew! I finally got the problem fixed! You guys have been great! Turns out it was an issue with the urls within the index. I had to run the repair script that smf provides and had it repair all urls. I'm on v1.0.5 and well here's what I've got. Again, many thanks to all of you and your welcomes!
  10. It's the newest package as well... I'll see if anyone has an idea there as well. Thank you for the response and welcome.
  11. I'm tired right now, so please bare with me...This is what I did: ran a db check through sql, all was fine. did the same through the smf admin panel; nothing found... backed up db of current members and settings. deleted all themes except default. removed smf db. remove forum folder. recreated smf db. added myself as user, with all priveledges. recreated the forum folder. uploaded smf.zip file. extracted files into forum folder. did a fresh instal. placed forum in maintenance mode. restored backup. accessed forum, prompted to sign in. denied my current user name. went back to the previous user name; logged in. Received messege: "The default theme's directory is wrong, please correct it by clicking this text. " clicked on text and I get: "Forbidden - You don't have permission to access /forums/index.php on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request." added my now previous user name to the db (with all priveledges) and checked all indexes in forum folder, all permissions set. tried to click on the default theme's directory error and I still get the forbidden access error. i get the same error when accessing the current theme's settings or trying to modify any permissions for members/guests. Now...What did I miss? Did I screw up somewhere?
  12. LOL. Thank you both, I will try that again. I did last night and it failed miserably. Not trying to bump a thread, just trying to see if anyone was out there at the moment that would have a clue as to what I'm missing. I'm sure not everyone gets to read every thread there is. I'll post my results when I try again. Cheers. **Edit**
  13. I checked all permissions, I have several themes and found the mayority didn't have permissions, but even after correcting this, I still have the same issue. The default index has all necessary permissions as well...
