Raul, I agree with you but this quote taken from Mitchell's blog leaves me with a bad feeling. To me they are trying to find a way to generate some revenue. Now this is not necessarily a bad thing, but the way they are doing it is.

Why not just publish to the "public_html" folder instead of a subfolder or subdomain?

When you are using Earthlink as your SMTP server you have to tell your email client to use Authentication and enter you Earthlink information into the appropriate fields for sending email.

You can open a help desk ticket (link above) to support and have them either park the new domain on top of the old domain and you would have both domains going to your current site. Or you can ask them to change the domain name to the new name and discard the current one. If the cost of the reseller account is too much you can always just purchase an additional hosting account. I have three individual hosting accounts as they are less expensive than one reseller account. Hope that helps.

This IS the problem with the gap at the top. Here is a suggestion. I don't know what you are viewing the page with but if you use Firefox download the web developer extension as it contains a great CSS editor that lets you make changes in real time and see the results. I used it to remove the 20px margin and your right content lined up where it should. Also you should add "px" to the last value. Those values are top, right, bottom and left. If all are going to be zero then you can just enter is as margin: 0px; you don't need all 4.

You can always use your earthlink server for outgoing mail. Moving for organization.

The "www" folder is a symbolic link to the "public_html" folder. Just load all your content to the "public_html" folder and you will be fine. Moving for organization.

Just bad English. If you initiated the transfer then you don't need to respond and the transfer will go through. If someone else initiated a transfer and you didn't want to transfer this is a warning message and you can stop it from happening.
