Hi George! I ran into something similar recently, I discovered that my Internet Provider had started to block port 25 for sending email from my site. Sending with the account from my ISP worked ok. So I changed the port to 26 for the one that I use to send from my site, and it works fine now. Maybe this is what has happened to you?

Can you check under My Controls at the top of this forum, look at Options>board settings to see if you have Is daylight savings time in effect? checked? and make sure you have the right time zone selected? let us know if this helps

Problem With Xml Declare While Using Amember
TCH-Don replied to markc's topic in Security Discussions
Another way that comes to mind is ini_set put in the head of the php document, ini_set('short_open_tag', ' off'); again this is from memory as I am away from home. And the syntax may not be quite right. I know I have read about this not to long ago, so there should be a lot of info on the web about this. please let us know if you get this to work, as I would like to keep this in my notes, as opposed to my CRS memory --------- EDIT ----------------- I did find this <?php echo '<?xml version="1.0" encoding="US-ASCII"?>'; ?>. as a way around the problem. If this works, you may be able to echo your XML statements. -
There are a number of third party apps that are one click install from your cpanel see Third Party Apps on the help site, including Gallery that might do what you want. The instructions need to be follwed step by step, but they do work. LOL if I can do it, you can, have fun.

Problem With Xml Declare While Using Amember
TCH-Don replied to markc's topic in Security Discussions
I seem to remember if you use the XML TAG <? in a php document, you need to turn the php short tag <? off in your php.ini to keep the php engine from becoming confused. for here since you cannot edit php.ini, you should be able to add to .htaccess php_flag short_open_tag Off of course this is from memory You may want to check a book or google. -
I love mine from notetab.com Its html friendly and has a favorite tab like a browser. You can priview to two different browsers. And unlike many others, as you save, it still retains the changes as long as you keep it open. So you can make changes, save, ftp or preview, look and then undo all the way back to when you opened it. It also has html and css libraries to make it easy to add tags. You still have to know what to add, but its easier than typing it all. There are three versions, free, $10 and $20 for the pro version with spell checker that knows html commands.

As to the content not fitting in 800x600 your style sheet sets both table padding and margins try removing the table margins it seem to work for me.

your logo is still linking to vcindex.com >[img=logos/Vred.gif] Very nice, clean, fast and nice use of the Iframe! Although the content fits my 800x600 display there is a horz scrollbar. All in All nice look. Thumbs Up

Your index.htm file is named vcindex.htm Just rename it plain index.htm and change the links to it as well. And Welcome to the family
-
Using the above link, you might try the simpler method link type in your address copy the html code and replace the code your are using for your contact me link or just copy the converted name@site.com part %6E%61%6D%65%40%73%69%74%65%2E%63%6F%6D and insert with your program as you did to create the email link, just paste the result when you get to the part where your would type in your address.

Tracy, just delete the alt="xyz" tag or if a program insist on creating one make it null alt="" another tip on the title="some text" if you create the text in a simple text editor you can use multiple lines as in title="line one line two line three" so you can include a lot of info and make the text break where you want.
