Hi Julia, When you get the info on how to change the DNS info (where your domain name points to) you can just change it to the name servers that you will see in your welcome email for your account. When your account is set up, you can access it to publish to the temp address also in your welcome email. Then when you change the DNS to point to the Total Choice Name servers, it will take up to 72 hours for all the internet providers around the world to update and show the way to your new site. You could also start with one account for yourself and add more later or upgrade to the resellers account if it makes it cheaper.

Welcome Julia Glad you made it here! The resellers account will let you add more accounts later, just register a domain and add it to your accounts, and no extra cost except for the domain name. You should create a new group called moderators rather than give anyone else admin powers. To create a moderator group Log into your Admin, goto users and groups manage user groups Add a new member group based on admin click set up new group change title to moderator in the window for Online List Format [Prefix] you can add the style and in the Online List Format [suffix] you can add this will list your mods in red then select the Global Permissions for your mods and check the Posting Permissions and in Moderation Permissions you should dissable Can access the Admin CP? then at the bottom click Add Group and select ok to the security check. Then to promote a user to a mod goto find edit user type in name edit details select the member group of moderator add a title like forum moderator then at the bottom select edit this member. And there you are.

You may want to check with your provider also. Some prohibit running a web site through their connection. I know Charter will terminate any that do it. Better to be safe and check.

Hi, I am not customer support, but I can give you my opinions. Yes it is safe to cancel, if fact you can try it for 30 days and get your money back. On the TOS, I did not read it that way, I saw it as saying they have the right to put your content up on your site, and to cache materials as in back up your server in case of a server failure, so they can restore that backup. At least that the way I read it. You will have to tell them if you want more services as to the control panel, there is no charge for using anything in there. In fact if you check the help site you will see how to install more features for free. As I said I am not support, just a another customer, but I love it here Rock Sign

You may want to look at www.the-cloak.com it seems to display a site better.

If you have an ftp program, open two copies and select and drag from one folder on your site to another. I tried this with mine, core ftpLITE, and it was very fast. I am going to move this to Backend services so others will see it, and help or learn

Karen, have you tried images/imagename.jpg as a relative path it will look for the image folder below the current place the site is located. And if you have an image folder below your site on your computer with the same images, it will also work. And Welcome to the family

You can change some of the text displayed in the guestbook, by editing the language file, in my case the file lang/english.php contains the line: $LANG["BookMess6"] = "Thank you for stopping by my test guest book site.
