  2. Did you reinstall from the cpanel and see a working forum?
  3. in phpadmin select the database on the left, SQL, browse to your file. Yep it works.

If you are referring to just type the address www.yoursite.com/forum/upgrade5.php in your browser url window, if it is in a folder called forum, and after you have followed the upgrade instructions, remember IMPORTANT: PLEASE REMOVE THE SCRIPT WHEN THE UPGRADE IS COMPLETED! so in file manager goto the forum folder and delete upgrade5.php

If you need it there are some basic php tutorials in code central > scripting & programming if you need any help just post, thats what family is for.

You can use cpanel file manager to see a and edit .htaccess or an ftp program like corelite or others suggested in the suggust software forum will help.
