Hi, You could: 1) Use layers. Possible to do, but if certain aspects of the browser are turned off or it does not support CSS perfectley, this is a waste 2) Iframe. Bad bad bad. Has too many potential security flaws. Also in IE 6 the standard is to have it as a warning before use. Not good if someone keeps on popping onto your site all the time. 3) Flash. Something I have just found very useful. Flash can "import" text files and display them on screen. Something else it can do is support HTML and CSS in the text files. Hence no re-loading is ever done, and flash works in everything if you have the flash player Jim

*drool* Way to go Bill and Totalchoicehosting! Jim

Hi, Correct Russ, when you load up gallery onto your website, you have to run the installation file first. It is during this progress that you can look at path names and see what is going on. Please do not think that your a pest. Getting gallery to work is a bit of a hassle even for the most seasoned of us here. If you do have any more questions, please do not hesistate to ask! Jim
-
Another reason being that javascript can be turned off, and it also fails the recommedations layed out by W3C Jim

Hi, The diagianostics are as the gallery starts up, it gives a run down of whats installed etc I believe its just user/bin If you get it wrong, when you get to the final bit before you save, all the "wrong" bits will be highlighted in red and you can click back and change them No we are not running in safe mode Jim

It does indeed sound a bug. Its a cheats way using javascript but its a good short cut Jim

TCH-JimE replied to ryanscottottney's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, Somewhere in the link between you and the server, its become logged and the session times out when your trying to get mail. As fustrating as this is, either use another mail program (for some reason outlook loves that message) or indeed, wait a while. Sorry Jim -
Only See Raw Log When Viewing Awstats
TCH-JimE replied to youneverknow's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, I am guessing your IE has become corrupt. If you can view your stats on a friends machine using IE, your IE at home is the problem. This is already nearly guranteed by the fact opera on your computer shows them ok. Jim -
Hi, Have a look over at hot scripts and type in the word cards or greeting cards Jim
-
Hi, Hmm I seen that avatar before somewhere! I own an ATI card and have no problems with it. Most cards need decent cooling if your going to start playing around with them and thats what most people dont realise Jim
-
Do you mean your cart? Do you have a backup of it? If not, drop a support ticket in and ask for the last backup to be placed on the site, ok you may loose a few things since then if you have changed everything, but least it will then work Jim
-
Hi, Drop a support ticket in and we shall do it for you Jim

Hi, No worries, it took me time to figure it out the first time I came across using such counters Jim
-
Hi, To be honest, I would sit down for an hour and learn how to make your form's and then just write it in plain HTML. You can cut 80% of that code out in normal HTML, but with frontpage I dare not touch it as if its missing something, it fails apart badly. Jim

A semi dedicated or dedicated server account Jim
-
Hi, Delete the coding and start from scratch. Give the counter a name, not user or your cpanel name either. Jim
-
Hi, Let us know if it solves it or not Jim

-
