Hmm... maybe technology for spammer has improved? It's sad, but now seems like we need to use the ...username [at] domain (dot) com... to hide it from the spammers. They might eventually get smart enough to decode those?

I haven't experienced this problem before... other people seem to be able to backtrack to my blog from their stat counter. Like Bruce said, try shutting down Zone Alarm (or other firewall/privacy software that you might have) - they may be blocking referrer to enhance your "privacy".

I think this question is best directed to the forum where you wish to add links to your footer/signature. Find out what each forum's rules are. For my cricket club, we have practically no rules. Other forums (like TCH) have rules, and there may be some restrictions on links. [edited for clarification]

You can disable index through "Index Manager" in cpanel to prevent viewing directory contents. It is also possible to prevent listing of directory content through .htaccess (but won't return access denied page).

Oops... thanks for pointing that out Don! Interesting, though... why is the cpanel icon called "Scripts Library", and inside it's actually called "Addon Scripts"? Is the "InvisionBoard 1.2" (available at the same place) the same as Invision Power Board? Or is it a different product?
