  1. Shutdown one, another 10 will probably pop up. I think it's got to be quite a profitable scam... why else are so many people getting this?
  2. Welcome to the forums, Mel! It loads fine from Taipei, Taiwan... kind of far from CA, though.

    I Am Lost

Hi Erin, Did you sign up to both a domain name and a hosting plan? If you did, you should be all set to upload and have your website up and running. If you signed up for hosting, your email should tell you what FTP address to connect to.
  6. It's June 9th to July 9th... guess where I found that out? From a friend's blog... "World Cup rules for Women". Funny, but probably not for here. Go google it.

    I Need Help

Ah... no wonder. Well, like Tim said, you can get both domain name and hosting account here at TCH. I would hazard a guess that you have the most basic requirements for your website, so probably a Starter Plan would do. You can always upgrade as needs arise. If you have any problems with setting up your website here, just give us a shout!

Please check to make sure that picture has been released under public domain. If it is has been released under creative commons licence, please make sure you follow the terms of the licence. The xHTML compliant code for images is as follows: ><img src="http://example.com/image.jpg" alt="alternative text" /> For more information, you can just Google for HTML tutorials... I find w3schools a good place to learn various web scripting languages. h_tp://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_img.asp
  9. Haha! That's a great photo!!
  10. I've got a question... the cpanel "hotlink protection" seems to be enabled by default with the follow URL allowed: >!-d !-f I would guess that they are interpreted by the server as something else... what do they mean? Would setting up .htaccess rewrites be any better or more efficient?
  11. Nice solution to the mocking bird problem! I find it sad to see birds smashing into windows or get trapped inside a house/building... poor birds.
