Dns - Primary Ip Address And Secondary Ip Address?
TCH-Andy replied to forumsurfer's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi, ns1.totalchoicehosting.com - 64.246.50.105 ns2.totalchoicehosting.com - 65.254.32.122 -
Hi, Welcome to your new home Can you submit a help desk ticket, and we'll have a close look at it for you.
-
Hi, Both seem to be resolving fine to me.
-
Hi, It should work with; https://serverxx.totalchoicehosting.com/~username/subfolder/file Where xx is the server number you are on. username is your cpanel username subfolder is the folder name for the subdomain
-
Hi, If it is a different version, they may not be compatable. You will need to upload the files to the server (I would take a copy of the tmp/awstats folder, which has the stats in first ) and check the config file. If they are compatible, then it should work.
-
Hi, Glad it's all working now Stats (on the AWSats pages in cpanel) are generally updated once per day.
-
Hi, Submit a help desk ticket, and we will take a look. NeoMail, Horde, and SquirrelMail are all on the server, however Mozilla Mail is running on you computer. I suspect it is the connection between your computer and the server somewhere. Possibly DNS or your ISP blocking access.
-
Hi, I would first just check and firewall, or anything that may be blocking the connection. If not, then please submit a ticket to the help desk, and we'll test it for you.
-
It works for me. Try a refresh in your browser.
-
Hi, It could be from cached pages still. Without a link to the page in question, it is difficult to be certain.
-
Hi, Welcome to the family It is perfectly normal for it to "flip-flop" between been able to see your site, and not during propagation. It is also normal to be able to see it from a computer on one ISP and not on another. It will settle down soon (24-72 hours, as Bruce says).
-
Out thoughts and prayers are with you. keep faith, and believe. You will beat it
-
Hi, Yes, we can (and do) host non-us domains. You will need to point the DNS to our nameservers from your domain name registrar, and everything should work just fine.
-
It works OK for me - took me to your site on server65. If I check whois, it says that the last update was on 19 July. If you only changed the DNS a couple of days ago, then it won't have finished propagating yet.
-
Hi, All the settings you have there are for PHP. Are you trying to remote connect in Dreamweaver? or using PHP? Have you set up the dreamweaver connections - see http://totalchoicehosting.com/help/textpagea9.htm You will also need to log into cpanel and enable connections from your IP address (in cpanel, Managemysql).
-
Hi Eric, I've just replied to your other post on this You simply need to open a help desk ticket, provide all your details, and the details of the person you want to transfer the hosting to.
-
Hi, Yes, if you provide us with all the details on a help ticket when you want to transfer it, that can be done.

Japanese Keywords / Keyphrases In Awstats
TCH-Andy replied to okinawa's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi Kevin, The files are stored in ascii files - if you PM me with the account details (domain name, username), I'll have a look at your account and the files. -
Japanese Keywords / Keyphrases In Awstats
TCH-Andy replied to okinawa's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Hi Kevin, Not sure if it would work, but try setting the encoding for the page to Japanese (under view, Encoding in IE, View, Character Encoding in Mozilla). -
Excellent point
-
Hi, The account should work immediately, but you will need to use the IP address. Propagation of the domain name takes up to 72 hours after you have set the DNS to our nameservers.
-
Yes Please see the following link Banned Scripts WHM will not do that for you, and you would need a reseller account to be able to do it.
-
Hi, 1) You would need a reseller account to host multiple domains on subdomains. 2) There is no charge for upgrading (you just pay the new monthly rate) 3) We do not provide a guarentee 4) The gallery script should be fine 5) phpBB is a one click install from cpanel 6) I have only had a quick look at the EasyHost script - but I think you would need a reseller account to run this. 7) The Severs are generally Dell Xeon quad processors 2.8GHz
-
Hi, The hosting is seperate from the domain name registration. So for the hosting you need to sign up as a new user (NOT as an existing user with the the domain name registration email and password).
-
Hi, If you PM me with the login info, I'll check it with Dreamweaver and see if I get the same error. The settings should be Access: FTP ftp host: ftp.domain.com Host Directory: /public_html/ login: username Password: password Use passive FTP should be ticked Use SSH should not be ticked.
