Welcome to the forums It looks as if you have a corrupt table in your database. I would go into cpanel - into the mySQL database section, and repair the database.

Hi Biff, Uptime depends slighly on the individual server of course, but overall the average for all servers is approx. 99.9% availability. Maintenance time is not long downtimes - typically only a few mins. A complete hard disk failure is the failure which typically causes the longest downtime. From memory the last time this happened it caused about 8 hours downtime for some sites (most sites were a lot less, as they were restored individually). Of course the probability of a hard disk failure on a particular server is low.

Welcome to the forums Have you got the email address set correctly for where you are trying to send to? From the readme file; If you are using "SMTP" rather than "sendmail" you will need to add a valid email address and password to authenticate that you are a valid account to send emails. The bit before the underscore "_" is the cpanel username. ie, your username that you login to your cpanel with. The bit after the underscore is the name you gave to the database when you created it in cpanel, or the name for the user you created (again in cpanel) and assigned to the database.

In your .htaccess you have added a line; >php_value auto_prepend_file /home/******/public_html/refer/refer.php which is a file that does not exist - and hence will give you an error. If you remove that line - you should find your site then works properly.

I have seen this when there is a php error, using php files. Can you give us a link ?

Hi Hazel, I haven't tried using PHPMyAdmin remotely myself, but with other remote mySQL programs you need to set; Host - your domain name dbname - cpanelname_databasenane dbuser - cpanel_user password - whatever you created it as. You will need to allow access (in the database section of your cpanel) by adding your IP address (or % for any) into the allowed hosts section.

Hi kaarthik, Welcome to the family The domain name is through our partner site, so just sign up as a new user for the hosting. If, when you bought the domain name, you said to leave it on the default nameservers for TotalChoice Hosting, then you will not need to change anything there. Simply sign up for the hosting, and all should work. The hosting registration is a separate id & password to the forum here, so you will have to sign up as a new user there.

The "norm" with that spam is to set the "from" address and the "to" address the same. Hence your daughter will get it from herself - but if I were to receive it, it would say I had sent it. So nobody else should get that spam "from" her. The best thing is to just delete it - or set up a filter to block it.

I'm fairly sure that the problem is the rDNS is not set up on your server. If you open a ticket at the help desk, provide us with the full header for that (so we can check) and ask us to check the rDNS is set up correctly we'll look into it for you.

That depends on your computer setup. I have Chinese fonts setup on my computer, so I see the Chinese characters. If you do not have a suitable character set on your computer, you will probably see a mix of squares and ?
