Hi, I'd try something like; >RewriteRule ^list.php/(.*)/(.*)$ list.php?m=$1&l=Nokia&lp=1&id=$2 which will convert list.php/Nokia-3120/19 into list.php?m=Nokia-3120&l=Nokia&lp=1&id=19 I think

How Much Bandwidth Will A Dedicated Server Handle?
TCH-Andy replied to archiveman's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Hi, It would certainly need a dedicated server for these rates, but these rates can be handled. We can sort out something with you, drop an email to sales@totalchoicehosting.com and we'll go through the detailed requirements with you. -
Have you named your main file (the one you want as the front page) index.htm ? If not, rename it to that, and hopefully it should all work fine

I'm glad it's sorted Thanks for letting us know

You can get a demo of Macromedia Flash (30 day trial) There are trials available of other systems, but I'm not aware of a good freeware flash production system.

Hi Randy, If this is the local copy, then you can put them in any folder on your hard disk. If it's on the server, then you want to put them in the public_html folder.

If Referer Not My Form Script, Then Block Access?
TCH-Andy replied to Sarah's topic in Scripting Talk
Hi Sarah, Why not add the special code you generate into the same php file as the form response. Then the only way to it is via the form. -

Need To Mimic Oe Or Other Email Client Filters Behavior
TCH-Andy replied to PhGroove's topic in Scripting Talk
Hi, I would go about this one of 2 ways. 1. Use the filters in cpanel to filter emails into different boxes, depending on those keywords. Then set up an autoresponder for those email accounts. or 2. Pipe the emails to a script, and then use that script to check for the keywords and autorespond. -
Congratulations

I did a bit more digging .... My guess at the moment is that you are using Norton. From the symantic website, You can try disabling the Ad blocking, and see if it goes away

Yes, and for the default address of subdomains.

Hi, From the headers this looks like a standard virus, not sent from your machine If you look at the mail that was supposedly sent from your account; Return-Path: <webmaster@pearlandjrs.com> Received: (qmail 16973 invoked by uid 108); 3 Dec 2005 00:22:55 -0000 Delivered-To: is.mathews@llyc.org Received: (qmail 16594 invoked by uid 108); 3 Dec 2005 00:22:52 -0000 Received: from unknown (HELO wmlcwgcwe.com) (67.10.129.158) by 0 with SMTP; 3 Dec 2005 00:22:52 -0000 From: webmaster@pearlandjrs.com and look at the IP address, it is not from the server here, but from a computer in Texas somewhere.

Hi Boxturt, Which domain is this on? I checked your main account and couldn't see it in the source.

Yes, you would need to talk to your company firewall team, to arrange access. Unless you used webmail (sqmail uses port 80)

Questions: Shell Access, Downloading Audio, Unpacking Large Tar, Etc
TCH-Andy replied to a topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Hi getitdone 1. shell access is not provided, other than on dedicated servers. However, you can do vitually everything via the tools provided without shell access. 2. There are no CMS systems band. You need to ensure it is secure from a script viewpoint though. 3. Audio and video are fine (although they will use up your bandwidth of course). We only support http streaming of audio / video. 4. It is your responsibility to monitor your clients sites. If one has illegal copyright audio for example, that were reported to us. That site would be suspended, and we would talk to you about it. 5. The reponse time with tech support varies depending on the method you use, and how busy we are It sounds as if you were using Live Chat, or IM. If these were simple questions, then I would expect a quicker response than 3-4 mins. If these were requiring the tech to investigate something, and then get back to you - I'd say 3-4 mins was pretty good 6. Yes, you can upload a sipped file, and then unzip it from the file manager in cpanel. 7 Server level support is via the help desk. If it's third party, scripts type hand holding, then we have the family forum here -
Welcome to the immediate family You can't get any closer that immediate family.

Great Idea - I've added myself

Hi cherry, There is only one cpanel, for the main domain, not cpanels for subdomains.

Hi Lisa, Welcome to the forums I assume you are trying to use webmail. If so then try; www.domain.com/webmail or www.domain.com/sqmail Login in using the full email address as the username, and the password.

Hi, Generally, there is not a lot of difference between domain name registrars other than the price (unlike hosting, where there is a lot of difference between hosting providers). Most (like ours) will give you an option for bulk purchasing, provider reminders for renewal, allow you to modify DNS etc. provide private registration ...) I have not looked at the specifics of any differences with GoDaddy, but suspect that they are very similar.
