The reason you would receive the SLL cert warning is you are popping your domain and the certificate was issues to a shared server. If you wish to totally eliminate the SSL cert warning pop your server name instead of your domain or purchase your own SSL cert. SSL certs do expire and when a new one is issued you may receive the warning then also. Accepting it should prevent it from popping up for another year.

Yes, it's been reproduced on another server and is still not resolved. As soon as the techs figure out what is causing the problem it will be fixed. Please open a ticket with the help desk though so they will have a record of it.

Man that's a loaded question. The best thing would be to educate them on how to use FTP and show them where the pictures are on the server and have them replace them with an FTP program. As for text changes, they should be made off line and uploaded with FTP as well. I base my answer on their site consisting of html files and images. Another option would be to install a content management system for them that they could log into and make modifications. Still they will need to learn how to FTP images.

Check the headers of the email messages bouncing back. You will see they did not originate from your domain's IP addess. If you own a domain it's not if it's when it's going to happen to you. I would change your catchall address to :fail: so that mail addressed to addresses not in your domain get discarded.

I've been working with Dick on this issue. I had the same results installing manually and through Fantastico. It is being worked on.

This was a fresh download of WP from their site, correct? Not one you have been installing from where you are experiencing the same thing. If so it's time for a trip to the help desk and make sure you explain that you have done a clean install with the same results.

Please open a ticket with the help desk. Could be your IP is being blocked.

Maybe it will work differently in IE7. I know that doesn't help.

I would open a ticket. Another thing I would try would be reinstall WP manually.

I run 3 personal WP sites, my wife has 2 and I've never had any problems. You say you were editing the theme to add something. Did you back up the theme before editing it? Are you editing on the server or off-site and uploading?

This is an exploit that is also in IE6 that was never fixed.

Another way you can block content (I do it all the time) is to create a custom HOSTS file with each address you want to block looping them back to 127.0.0.1 Most users don't know about the hosts file and would never think to look there.

What type of filtering are you looking for? Most wireless routers have some of that capability today. As well as setting times to allow access.
