Please open a ticket with the help desk so that they can check that for you. The mods don't have access to the servers or your account information.

If you have a good handle on CSS it shouldn't be that hard to convert your style over. And Spam Karma 2 also handles track-back spam as well.

I used to use MT but I switched to WP almost two years ago. It is database driven (like the new MT) and has been since I converted. I think it's easier to customize the look of with the theme templates than it was with MT. I haven't used MT since version 2.661 And the Spam Karma plugin is the best comment spam tool I've ever used. Give it a play, you can install it right through Fantastico in cPanel. See if you like it.

In cPanel select Cron Jobs. Then select Standard. There is a simple set of boxes that you can check the day of the week, time of day and frequency to run the job. Just enter a path to a script that removes the file. You could try using: >rm /home/cPanelname/path-to-file But that is running a system command and I don't know if it is allowed or will work.

I never tried the FTP function but I do know the email function works. You can PM your script to me and I'll take a look at it for you.

There was an issue on the server which was causing many accounts and scripts to fail. This was affecting many sites and causing high loads on the server. We identified the problem, unfortunately, the only way to fully correct this was to recompile key parts of the operating system, and then restore accounts to the server. We are sorry about the loss of your changes.

The rules are in place to prevent someone from signing up sending out a ton of spam and getting the server blacklisted. Since the server is a shared server not only does this take down the spammer but it also takes down eveyone else on that shared server. You have a couple of options. 1) You can find software that will allow you to send your mailing list that can conform to the restraints in place. 2) You can get a dedicated server where you control the limits 3) You can sign up at a mailing list host if you cannot work within these limits. I feel for legitimate mailing list customers but with the amout of spam being distributed around the world some rules have to be applied to keep web sites up and running. Good luck

Can you send an email from your account? If so mail is working. If not open a ticket with the help desk. And have you checked the path in mt-config.cgi2

This really should be asked in our Wordpress forum but I will comment here since I can't split the original post and move it. I use the Tiga theme on my personal blog and I have to use the static CSS file it generates instead of the PHP style sheet it creates because of a conflict with one of my plugins. I set up another instance of WP with no plugins and the Tiga PHP style sheet works. That's how I generated the static CSS file for my site. If I want to make changes I go back to my other instance make the change and save the CSS changes for use on my blog.

Welcome to the forums loqullo You may wish to open a ticket with the help desk. Some of the older servers are still running mailman and they may be able to move your account to one of them. As I stated above, I don't know for how much longer mailman will remain on the older servers. And I don't know if they will move your account but you could ask.
