Phpbb Forum Won't Let Me Log In...

phpbb.com is going to be the best bet for finding an answer -

X2 is not an upgrade it is just a cpanel theme
-
Those are features of cpanel pro, they actually have very little real life use and will probably be removed from our servers. I know that two of the features dont even work because we do not have cpanel pro installed on our servers.

Still looking for at least one more person, contact me if interested.

We use an anti fraud service that checks ALL of the available info when you sign up. It checks the geographic location of the IP you sign up from and compares that against the geographic location of where the credit card was issued. It checks the e-mail address used and reports if it is a free account like yahoo or hotmail. It compares the credit card billing address to the address listed on the sign up form. All of these checks are then scored by some formula I dont understand and we are given a potential fraud score from 0-100% You scored high because the IP address you signed up from is in Seattle Washington and The address you listed is in the Cayman Islands as well as that being where the credit card was issued. So now we have 4807 Kilometers from IP Address you signed up from to the CC Billing Address Add on the fact that the e-mail address used ends in a .ky extension that doesnt return any results from a normal whois lookup and thats why you have a high score.

Coneheads - WORM_CONE.C (Low Risk) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ WORM_CONE.C is a non-destructive worm that arrives as a .zip attachment to an email message. This worm also propagates via Kazaa peer-to-peer file sharing, by dropping a copy of itself in the shared directory of Kazaa. Its payload overwrites the HOSTS file of the infected system, and therefore, prevents the user of the infected system from accessing certain Web sites typically related to security and antivirus information. This malware runs on Windows NT and 2000. WORM_CONE.C arrives as a .zip attachment to an email message, with one of the following 16 possible subject lines: MAILER-DAEMON@%s How cute is your credit card number!! ) E-mail account disabling warning for %s RE: %s i have your password RE: Thank You! RE: details (%s) Password Reset For %s Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender (%s) about you Your account (%s) will be closed Your IP has been logged Mail Delivery System (%s) Mail Transaction Failed (%s) IMPORTANT %s! Confidential user information! It then drops 6 .DLL files in the Windows/System32 directory, and creates registry entries that allow it to automatically execute at every Windows startup. It also drops a copy of itself using the filename WEBCHECK.PIF in the following folders: Winnt\Profiles\All Users\Start menu\Programs\Startup\ WinME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ Win98\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ Documents and settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\ To propagate via Kazaa, it drops a copy of itself in the Kazaa shared directory, using any of the following file names: Strip Girls-part%d.scr Sky lopez - Screensaver.scr Playboy Screensaver Dec 2003.scr This worm overwrites the HOSTS file found in the directory "%System%\drivers\etc" (where %System% is C:\WINNT\System32 on Windows NT and 2000). This action redirects the connection to the listed site, back to the local host or the infected system, thus denying the infected system access to the following Web sites: www.symantec.com securityresponse.symantec.com symantec.com www.sophos.com sophos.com www.mcafee.com mcafee.com liveupdate.symantecliveupdate.com www.viruslist.com viruslist.com f-secure.com www.f-secure.com kaspersky.com www.avp.com www.kaspersky.com avp.com www.networkassociates.com networkassociates.com www.ca.com ca.com mast.mcafee.com my-etrust.com www.my-etrust.com download.mcafee.com dispatch.mcafee.com secure.nai.com nai.com www.nai.com microsoft.com www.microsoft.com support.microsoft.com update.symantec.com updates.symantec.com us.mcafee.com liveupdate.symantec.com customer.symantec.com rads.mcafee.com trendmicro.com www.trendmicro.com

Phpbb Forum Won't Let Me Log In...
TCH-Dick replied to guita01's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
It's more than likely a problem with cookies, under configuration in the phpbb admin panel try setting the cookie domain to .yourdomainname.com (make sure and include the " . " dot) -
I use Arles a lot to create thumbnails when I need them. It will also create HTML pages with the thumbs and links to the full sized images with the back and forward arrows, drop down boxes to page jump, add watermarks, resize the original images, lets you specify thumbnail size etc etc. http://digitaldutch.com/

Well, if you were trying to run two antivirus programs at the same time, thats more than likely what caused the error, not EZ Armor.
-
youneverknow beat me to it....EZArmor is exactly like zone alarm, you have to configure it. You have to allow certain programs to access the internet and you have to add your network as a trusted network.

Thumbs Up Congratulations

TCH-Robert has moved from being a forum mod to being on the support team. Welcome to the support team Robert, now get to work!

Don't worry We all make mistakes.

It can takes months for google to index your site, the more inbound links you have the quicker it "should" get indexed, but make sure the sites linking you are relevant to your site.

That server isnt down
-
You can set up your mail so that it will bounce all e-mail that isnt sent to a valid address, but from a support standpoint we'd preffer you set it up so that e-mail sent to an invalid address is just deleted. The reason being is bouncing e-mails makes the mail server work twice as hard, and if its spam e-mail you are bouncing the address it is bounced back to usually isnt good anyway so it just bounces right back to you and it just continues to bounce back and fourth. Anyway, to make it bounce you would go to cpanel click on default address uinder mailand enter :fail: To just delete it you would enter :blackhole: We encourage everyone to use :blackhole: rather than :fail: simply because it greatly decreases the load on the servers.

You need to create a 403 page. You can do that directly from cpanel. That will stop the error and you can customize the 403 to whatever you like.

Short Answer is the entity used to represent a non-breaking space. It is essentially a standard space, the primary difference being that a browser should not break (or wrap) a line of text at the point that this occupies. Long Answer
