This is what I would do, sign up for a new account and new domain name, get it all set up like you want, keep the old domain name and site up while you are doing this. Once you have the new domain name and site set up have the old domain name parked on the new one, keep the old site and domain name up during propagation time, this way visitors will always see a site and not a page not found message. During propagation time post a message on the old site that you are moving, if it has a forum or anything that visitors can post on disable it so that once propagation is complete you dont have to worry about moving anything from the old site. After a few days (3 minimum) cancell the old hosting. I couldnt honestly say all tickets will be answered in X amount of time, but like I also mentioned in that post support is available via the live chat (mostly during normal business hours), AIM and yahoo IM. Personally If I am awake and at my PC I have yahoo and AIM on and am more than happy to answer any questions that I can.

The amount of e-mails sent AND the amount of them that get reported as spam are where the problems start. 200 an hour was the max I dont know if that has changed or not. Believe it or not the biggest problem with mass mailings isnt the amount you send, although that could become a problem, but how many get reported to various ISP's as spam, even though the person reporting them as spam signed up to receive them and just doesnt remember. TCH has been hammered with spam complaints, some legit, some not. The thing is when we get so many spam complaints the server gets blacklisted. The only way to keep the server from getting blacklisted is to stop the person that is sending the mail that is generating the complaints to stop sending mail entirely.

Hey Jim, I tried a few of your keywords to check out the results. The interesting part is that I spelled "Key West" as "KeyWest". it appears that I'm not the only out there that can't spell. You might want to give it a try and maybe spell it that way also.

I have an ATI card, and also run a hardware review website. I tested my card with the new drivers and there wasnt any problems with it at all. More than likely the problem is happening with people that use other programs to overclock their cards and their is a conflict with something in the new drivers. I use ATI's overclock app and it works great.

Correct Normally No and Yes a router can mask ip addresses if it has Network Address Translation (NAT).

You pretty much have it, if the requested packet coming back from the modem is addressed for Node 4 then the switch sends it directly to Node 4 and the others never see it. As far whay use a switch at all. Say you are running routing software on a server. Then you would want to apply a switch for the extra ports. A switch allows all devices to have dedicated bandwidth. The use of each really depends on the needs or design of your network and the products are so many. There are switches that act like routers. A router can be used as a gateway to another network or control the type of traffic allowed on the network. Hope this all makes sense, I'm a little rusty.

Everthing I'm about to say pertains to devices that a typical home user might purchase. The reason for this is that some higher end products can be dual purpose. By no means is this the only possible explanation as I said products vary. Anyway... I will try to define Hubs, Switches and Routers as they all foward data on a network. A Hub basically forwards all packets to all every device connected to it bandwidth between all of its ports. A Switch can keep a record of the addresses of all connected devices. It can also read address data from the packets and send it to the appropiate device. If it is unable to determine where to send the packet then it sends it to all connected devices and lets the device decide if the packet was for it. A switch also distibutes full bandwidth to each port. A Ruoter keeps records like a switch but it also know the location of the nearest router to it on the network. A router can also read additional info from a packet to determine the destination. Unlike a switch, if a router receives a packet that is not addressed to anything attached to it ,the router drops it and the rest of the network does not have to deal with it. Once again thsi is a very basic explanation. You will hear terms like Gateway, Bridge,Brouter..ok that is enough, if you have a headache now,I'm sorry. I'm not even sure where I'm going with this anymore. So I'll end it by saying; if you buy a Router from your local computer store, You are basically getting a router w/switch.

That is a sure sign to stop! You have 2 options fix it in the registry or do a System restore. Most likely it is an error or unnecessary entry in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell But I have to agree with Dennis on this one, no need to make a bad situation worse.

On a slow day I normally get 50-60 spam e-mails a day, mostly because I didnt have my e-mail addy on my website "stealthed" so spiders picked it up. (I've fixed that) Anyway, I've been looking for ways to cut it down and eventually stop it all together, I've started using a combo of two programs and have GREATLY reduced the amount of spam I get. http://www.spampal.org/ and http://www.mailwasher.net/ SpamPal is a free program that takes some configuring to get to work, but once its set up it works great, what it does is check e-mail you recieve against spam list like spamcop, if it matches it marks it as spam a lot like spam assasin does. You can also configure you SMTP server to auto whitelist anyone you SEND mail to. Mailwasher isnt free (for the full version) and it lets you check mail while it is still on the server and gives you the option to blacklist, delete and bounce, if you bounce a spam e-mail back to the sender they usually take you off the list. Using both programs together I have cut the spam down to 10-12 a day now, I use mailwasher to check the mail and bounce anything I know is spam, then when I open outlook spampal checks any other messages against several blacklists and catches the rest of it.

Change how nuke sends e-mail to SMTP and it will work.

Once you get your SSL certificate you could just have the users submit the info via a form. The easiest way would be to have them submit it to a form that then e-mails you the information, not sure how secure that would be though. Or you could have the form save the information to a database.
