opml is Outline Processor Markup Language, a variation of XML /_vti_bin/owssvr.dll is usually a hacking attempt but since it is also paired up with /MSOffice/cltreq.asp, that would indicate someone whos PC is infected with the Nimda virus is accessing your site. OR if someine using IE and has the Discussion "feature" turned on in the tool bar it will also sometimes query your site for those files. If its a hacking attemot it will only work if your site was done with front page and you left it wide open, if it was an infected PC you have nothing to worry about since we run linux servers. If it was the discussion feature in IE, again nothing to worry about. I'm not sure about the opml files

We dont have any plans that allow you to run an eggdrop. And there are no plans (that I'm aware of) to allow them anytime in the future.

Brand New Customer, Cpanel Not Visible
TCH-Dick replied to cavalaxis's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
You can install phpmyadmin yourself and have access to it over a standard port, but there is no way to access the one thru cpanel directly. -
http://www.surefirewebdesign.com/scripts/ is the PHP form mail I would recommend.
-
go to your cpanel, under site management click on front page extensions, then click uninstall

Yes, just the file name. It should not matter if the file is in public_html or another directory.

Just add the url of you sig image to AWSTATS conf >Use SkipFiles to ignore access to URLs that match one of following entries. # You can, with this option, add a list of not important frame pages (like # menus, etc...) to exclude them from statistics. # For example, to ignore a whole directory tree, just add "directorytoignore", # to ignore "users" pages in your stats, you can add "/~". # The oposite parameter of "SkipFiles" is "OnlyFiles". # Note: This parameter is not case sensitive. # Note: Use space between each value and do not remove default values. # Note: xxx$ means URL ending with xxx. # Example: "robots.txt$ favicon.ico$ badpage.html /~" # Default: "robots.txt$ favicon.ico$" # SkipFiles="robots.txt$ favicon.ico$"

Setting Up Challenge/response Tools
TCH-Dick replied to toddcurry's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Just so no one thinks we are trying to avoid this topic, it has been discussed, and has been considered in the past, but heres why it hasnt been implemented. We take suggestions from the family very seriously, but we have to look at it from all angles and then decide what to do with it. -
charle97 beat me to it. But just to add to that, I'm not sure how you configure Nucleus but whether it is a web based config or you have to edit the config manually make sure the database name and username are formatted correctly dbase name should be cpanelname_dbasename username should be cpanelname_dbaseusername

Can I Import Phpbb Db Into Invision Bb?
TCH-Dick replied to BuickStreet's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Don't know what versions you are using, but try here. I have never tried so not sure how well these work. Goodluck -
If its available I would go with SDSL, SDSL is same speeds up and down, where ADSL is slower uploading. Also, I dont know if it is available there but the ISP I used to work for provided reach DSL, it was basiclly a frame relay and you could get it no matter how far from the CO you were located, it ran about $350 for T1 speeds

I have ALWAYS hated winamp, it has always been a bloated resource hog, winamp 3 was the worst!!! But, I downloaded Winamp 5 just because I had been hearing good things about it and so far I'm impressed. I listen to music all day when I'm at my PC, most times I have 4 pages open for work on one browser, live chat, another browser open with 4-5 tabs open to sites I frequent, Trillian, an SSH client and e-mail open...add an mp3 player to that and you've got a lot going on. I couldnt run winamp 3 with that stuff open, but I'm running winamp 5 fine.

Hi, We dont provide any web building software or pre made templates. As far as wysiwyg software its all a matter of preffrence, some people swear by frontpage where others cant stand it and preffer dreamweaver, still other use cute sitebuilder, your best bet is to just try different ones, Internet Explorer and Netscape both have basic HTML editors built into them, and you can also just do a search for html editors at download.com
