66.246.87.127 not listed in bl.spamcop.net and http://www.senderbase.org/?searchBy=ipaddr...g=66.246.87.127 The IP of the server isnt on any blacklists. The best thing to do is contact the ISP of the person you are trying to send to, and talk to someone in their abuse department (not a support tech) and see if they can give you any more info.

I'll talk to Bill about this today and get back to ya'll with an answer.

Theres been a few chamges to the support staff, and I just wanted to make everyone aware of whats going on. We have some new full time support people, and some of the people that were support have moved to mod positions on the forums. They arent going anywhere, at least we hope not. We are just doing some restructuring. If anyone has any questions drop me an e-mail or catch me on AIM

Welcome to the team, Robert!

Use the Index Manager under Site Management on your cPanel. The index manager will allow you to turn indexes on or off for a directory. If indexes are off, people will not be able to see what files are in a directory that lacks an index file.

Everyone welcome DarqFlare (now known as TCH-Robert) to the moderating team. He has been a great help as a member on the forums, and I'm sure he will continue to be just as helpfull as always as a mod. Welcome to the team Robert!!!

no, we dont put any logos, links etc on your site. You would be your clients host, responsible for support etc. (you can come to us for support, but your clients will go to you)

Welcome back, As far as movies go I'm pretty lucky, my wife likes the same movies I do, Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, gladiator type movies. She does like the occasional "chick flick" but i've never been forced to endure one.

you should ALWAYS install an security updates -
Server 26 is the only server that has been moved so far.

Noy entirely true, the second domain name is not hosted with TCH. If his registrar allows redirecting thats ok. TCH does not allow parking a subdomin and pointing it to a subdirectory.

I think Bill and I got the error squared away, if anyone gets it again PLEASE post in this thread to let us know.
-
just working on this stupid mail error, it will be changed back.
-
All indications are that the error is caused by someone that is subscribed to a forum but has a bad e-mail address listed, or no e-mail address at all. Check your e-mail address and make sure it is valid.

.htaccess is a hidden file, a lot of ftp programs wont show hidden files by default. Smart FTP shows hidden files, or you can view it with file manager in your cpanel.

Billing reminders or charging CC automatically?
TCH-Dick replied to alex_r's topic in Pre-Sales Questions
Credit cards are charged automatically, we notify the customer via e-mail with the address we have on record if a credit card fails billing, normally an accoiunt has to fail several times (more than 4-5 times) before it is disabled. -
It sounds like a cookie error, i looked on carit's site and this was all I could find. Just as a reminder, we do not provide support for 3rd party scripts www.cartit.com would be your best bet for support. When attempting to add an item to the shopping cart, the item is not added and I am sure the page is designed correctly. You should design a simple cartitadd page for testing to make 100% sure it is not your page design. ><FORM ACTION="/cgi-bin/cartit.cgi" METHOD="POST"> -or cartit.exe <INPUT TYPE="HIDDEN" NAME="cartitadd" VALUE="Simple^19.95^1"> <INPUT TYPE="SUBMIT" VALUE="Add Item to Shopping Cart!"> </FORM> If this continues to fail, then the reason is most likely that you have your "Spoof Control" features set too strict. In CartIt NT you can correct this from the CartIt Manager. In CartIt for UNIX you can do this from CommerceBuddy Options -> Advanced Spoof Control. Click the "Click Here for Suggested Expression" link. If your CommerceBuddy is registered, then CommerceBuddy will create an expression for you to use. Do not change the suggested expression UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Be sure you "Publish Options and Configurations" after you make these changes.
