Thank you for your interest in our plans. I will try to answer your questions posted. We provide free transfer of the account to our server provided your current host is having cpanel. Regarding installation help of softwares, this is not part of the hosting service but we do try our best in assisting clients with the setup. But it is entirely upto you to maintan and keep it updated. All plans include weekly backup that runs every sat to a secondary disk, plus offline backups taken twice per day to our backup cloud so you are looking at 7x2 = 14 instances of offline backups. That said, I am sorry to say we do not have free VPN slots available.

We have corrected the issue and dns is now loading fine. The sites should be resolving. If you are still facing issues, please open a ticket via our Help Desk (link on my signature and on top menu) so that we can check it out. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

CPanel had a major update pushed in on the nightly release which caused the DNS zones of all accounts to be reloaded to our nameserver cluster which is causing sites to appear down. Only the accounts on dns3/dns4.totalchoicehosting.com nameserver pair are affected. We are working to get this resolved. Please note that nameserver services are not down, but since the zones are being reloaded the sites may appear to be down from some places. This was not something that was anticipated but the zones are now being reloaded and the sites should start resolving soon.

Taking a full backup of your account is always a good idea before making changes.

1) you will need to check your wordpress media setting to see how images are shown on the theme. 2) Categories will be displayed only after you add a few. Please go on and publish a few test posts, images etc so that the site gets some content and then you will be able to rearrange things to show up on the pages as you want from the WP admin section.

All our shared hosting plans support your requirements, below are the configurations we have PHP 5.3.6 as default with legacy PHP 5.2.17 as secondary which will be phased out soon Apache 2.2.17 MySQL 5.1.56 The PHP modules are all part of PHP 5.3.6 SSL will be $150/year which includes the fee for purchase, install and the dedicated IP.
