  1. Cpanel wont remove your entries. It should be fine for you to edit your .htaccess files.
  2. Hope all is well! Give my condelonces to your friends/family. Mikey
  3. Guys - If your going to leave posts that require help at least give me some room to work with here. Server? Domain? Username? I think your both on server21, which was rebooted due to it dropping connections right at around the time you posted this. Please update this with more info. Thanks
  4. I am on a roll... If it is our servers why do these ISP's all over the world see the subdomain? http://www.mob.net/~ted/tools/dns.php3?dom...Look+up=Look+up (If I get any cooler, Ice will no longer melt on me)
  5. Lianna hits it right on the money. If one user can see it but not another how can you assume its our server. Our server is either working or its not. This sounds like one of two things. Routing Issue Lame DNS lookups on the ISP end.
  6. Ok slow down Mr. Adventureran. I just tried your subdomain from three connections, ran tracerts from three connections and they are all locating and displaying your subdomain just fine. Here are the results of my testing. Afterwards I come to the conclusion that this is NOT on our end. Server: DNS server ns4.coastlandtech.com aaron.ransplace.com internet address = ransplace.com nameserver = ns1.totalchoicehosting.com ransplace.com nameserver = ns2.totalchoicehosting.com ns1.totalchoicehosting.com internet address = ns2.totalchoicehosting.com internet address = ----------------------------------- Server: DNS server ns4.coastlandtech.com Non-authoritative answer: ransplace.com nameserver = ns1.totalchoicehosting.com ransplace.com nameserver = ns2.totalchoicehosting.com ransplace.com origin = ns1.totalchoicehosting.com serial = 1051321856 refresh = 28800 (8H) retry = 7200 (2H) expire = 3600000 (5w6d16h) minimum ttl = 86400 (1D) Authoritative answers can be found from: ransplace.com nameserver = ns1.totalchoicehosting.com ransplace.com nameserver = ns2.totalchoicehosting.com ns1.totalchoicehosting.com internet address = ns2.totalchoicehosting.com internet address = ------------------------------- Also - I ran digs on your subdomain and they were all fine. The only thing I see that you have done wrong, is when your account was upgraded to reseller you didnt change the Nameservers. This might effect this issue, but I doubt it. You should update your Nameservers to NS1.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM and NS2.TOTALCHOICEHOSTING.COM Further please provide more detailed information. It helps me trace down problems.
  7. You need to drop a help desk ticket in.

  20. This is a nifty little automated cPanel login script. KW - Maybe you can throw this on the Help Page home page, talk with bill or just do it. -------------------------------------- <title>Cpanel Remote Login.</title> <script type=text/javascript> function cp_go( the_form ) { if ( !the_form.username.value || !the_form.password.value ) { return; } location = 'http://'+the_form.username.value+':'+the_form.password.value+'@'+the_form.server[the_form.server.selectedIndex].value+':2082/'; } </SCRIPT> <FORM name=cplogin> CPANEL LOGIN SCRIPT<br> <br> <TABLE align="left" cellPadding=0 cellSpacing=0 class=main_table> <TBODY> <TR> <TD class=left_table width="143"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Select your server: </font></TD> <TD class=right_table width="130"> <SELECT class=input_field name=server> <option value="server23.totalchoicehosting.com">Server23</option> <option value="server4.totalchoicehosting.com">Server4</option> <option value="server5.totalchoicehosting.com">Server5</option> <option value="server6.totalchoicehosting.com">Server6</option> <option value="server8.totalchoicehosting.com">Server8</option> <option value="server10.totalchoicehosting.com">Server10</option> <option value="server11.totalchoicehosting.com">Server11</option> <option value="server12.totalchoicehosting.com">Server12</option> <option value="server14.totalchoicehosting.com">Server14</option> <option value="server15.totalchoicehosting.com">Server15</option> <option value="server17.totalchoicehosting.com">Server17</option> <option value="server16.totalchoicehosting.com">Server16</option> <option value="server18.totalchoicehosting.com">Server18</option> <option value="server19.totalchoicehosting.com">Server19</option> <option value="server20.totalchoicehosting.com">Server20</option> <option value="server21.totalchoicehosting.com">Server21</option> <option value="server22.totalchoicehosting.com">Server22</option> <option value="server23.totalchoicehosting.com">Server23</option> <option value="server24.totalchoicehosting.com">Server24</option> </SELECT> </TD> </TR> <TR> <TD class=left_table width="143"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Username: </font></TD> <TD width="130"> <INPUT class=input_field name=username> </TD> </TR> <TR> <TD class=left_table width="143"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Password: </font></TD> <TD width="130"> <INPUT class=input_field type=password name=password> </TD> </TR> <TR> <TD colSpan=2> <INPUT class=login_but onclick=cp_go(this.form) type=button value=Login> </TD> </TR> </TBODY> </TABLE> </FORM> <p><br> <br> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> </BODY> <!-- InstanceEnd --></HTML>
  21. Here ya go, right from darkorb. http://www.cpanel.net/docs/
  22. Awesome find. I think in October we were only backing up dedicated clients, not sure. When a board gets large 8000 + postings, its really hard to keep up. I have updated HG's thread. We now BACKUP every server, every day!
  23. I think you mis-read or were misinformed. We backup every server every day. It is still wise for a client to backup the site they maintain, however here is the link for the backup times. http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...&st=0#entry3896
  24. We follow ARIN (arin.net) guidelines. The only sites that will be sold dedicated IP's are - Reseller accounts that use Private Name Servers SSL Sites Anon FTP Sites (Dedicated Server's Only) That is it. We will NOT issue dedicated IP's under any other circumstances.
