  1. I can log into my account with my FTP client with my TCH username and password, but when I add an FTP account, (say for a friend) it won't connect...seems to be a password issue of some kind. What am I doing wrong??
  2. I think it looks great! Bit of a surprise, though...
  3. Well, that's pretty discouraging, lol. I'll give it another go, though. Thanks for answering.
  4. I have installed Movable Type 2.64 on a friend's site. When I ran mt-load.cgi to initiate it, I got the following error: Loading initial data into system... An error occurred while loading data: Can't call method "maketext" on an undefined value at lib/MT.pm line 682, line 26. I did not get this error when I did a previous installation on another site a few days ago. I opened the file in my HTML editor (so I could see the exact line and everything) and this is what it looks like: $LH->maketext(@_); I have no idea how to correct this problem. Any input would be much appreciated. TIA
  5. Hi, I just installed the pMachine blogging program on my new domain. It does work, but I am having a strange issue with the trackback and pingback features. I did a test post after finishing the install and when I hover over the links for trackback and pingback, the URL that comes up is for the root directory in the subdomain where pMachine is installed. For example: I click the trackback link and the pop-up window opens, but the main page changes, too and shows the root directory. (There is no index.html, so all the files show) Same problem with the pingback. I have everything set properly in the config file (as far as I know) and I could find nothing about this problem in the knowledge base at the pMachine site. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this or has any insight. Thanks.
  6. Hi, I already have a site hosted on TCH and have now purchased another domain where I want to host another site. I would like to host it on TCH, also, because I like it here, lol. My question is: Will I have to open a separate account for the new site or can I somehow add it on to the account I already have? Sorry if this question is kind of dumb. Thanks.
  7. Ok, I know this is probably very elementary, but I honestly don't know how to fix it. IE 6 is misaligned when I maximize it. It sits a bit too low on the desktop. This happened the other night and after shutting my computer down for a short while, it fixed itself. It is now doing it again, however, and I can't seem to get it to change back. Sorry if this is a totally stupid question, but how do I get it to where it is aligned again?
  8. That would be GREAT!!!! Thank you so much...I still have the Movable Type program on my computer, so..anytime.
  9. LOL, it's funny you should mention Movable Type... I couldn't get that to work, either.
  10. Hello, everyone, I'm new here. Not sure if I am posting this in the correct place, but here goes. I am trying to run a program caled Greymatter on my domain. This is a "blogging" program that requires the use of the CGI-bin. I uploaded everything correctly and set the permissions the way the instructions said, however, when I try to bring up the log-in for the program, I always get an internal server error and additionally, the page cannot be found, although it IS sitting right there in the CGI-bin with the rest of the CGI files. I don't know what I am doing wrong and it's very frustrating. Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you for your patience with a newbie.
