For me its a matter of convenience I like to see the two windows in ftp with the web site in one and the folder on my computer in the other and then just highlight and drag files to the other window.

You are using a .htm page you need to use a .php page for the php code to be parsed or put the folloing in your .htaccess file. AddType application/x-httpd-php .htm .html then all your .htm and .html pages will be parsed for php code this is what I do.

Welcome to the forums zwb In the future you can make a database back in cpanel > backup > download database this creates a compressed file and then if needed you can upload it later in the same place.

Welcome to the forum Jeff Most sites do not require all that much space so I don't compare the space/bandwidth For me the big advantage is that you have control of all your sites from WHM including getting into a sites cpanel with your login This is helpful if the client changes the password and forgets. You can reset it from WHM.

Loads fine fo me I would say its a temporary routing issue. Have you had the same problem or is it just some people form one area.

Once every minute may be too much load on the shared severs depending on what the script does.

But remember you cannot point another domain name to a subdomain, file or folder unless you have a reseller account.
