  1. So its best to submit a ticket to billing for the best results. Thank you HC, your memory is better than mine Thumbs Up
  2. Try disabling hotlink protection for a while and then re enable it I have to do this sometimes.
  3. HC, Glenn is correct. The pro-rating applies to unused months already paid for. this is the way I believe it works. If you sign up in jan for the $4 a month account and decide on march 26th to upgrade to the $5 a month account, your billing will be cancelled and a new billing will be started for april and the unused already paid for months on the old plan will be credited to your account. but you need to submitt the help ticket to billing for the final details.
  4. You are welcome
  5. Many family members are using coppermine in fact there is a tutorial on installing it on the Totalchoice Hosting help site under third party apps.
  6. Welcome to the family, Chireven Glad you are happy here and are now part of our family! We do have somthing others will never have, a real family feeling here. If you need anything, just ask and we will try our best to help. And you can help too, its lots of fun
  7. Yep, that is why I use a password keeper, in fact the same one listed on the TotalChoice Hosting Help Site under freebies. I have advanced CRS And yes I loved him dearly, and he will always be in my memories.
  8. Miriam, glad that you figured it out. Now you will be able to help another family member when they ask how Thumbs Up
  9. Clear and concise! You have hit a number of my pet peeves and provided a great tutorial. Thanks for the info.
  10. Oh my! Thomas, I love it, just what I needed to relax and laugh a little, Thanks my friend Thumbs Up I may wear out those pages
  11. Hi Don What I do in outlook express is to setup two rules: 1 check for from @NOTMAIL.COM and move to a folder called REVIEW 2 check for friends@NOTMAIL.COM and move to friends folder All @NOTMAIL.COM will end up in the review folder, but friends will be moved in the folder for friends. All of my email is moved to a trash folder and then more filters move the ones I want to an appropriate folder. it took a while, adding filters as needed, but it works for me now.
  12. I use my ISP e-mail address, TCH is the only one I trust with it.
  13. As I understand it, it is up to you to remember to renew. Hmm, I wonder how long you can delay having an ecard sent to oneself, to remind of the renewal?
  14. Welcome to the family danceswithscissors LOL yup, I have forgotten a few skills I used to have too before I moved here, like re-uploading my whole site every so often when it dissapeared, and explaining why the the site was not there. Oh well, more time to work on the site now hey! As to remembering the user names and passwords, I use Any Password (link on the help site, under freebies).
  15. First mmyette Welcome to the family As to the horde problem, have you tried it with squirrel mail to see it also has the problem. I think you may need to submit a help ticket on this, see link at top of page.
  16. Not sure how much bandwidth you have with your current host, but at TotalchoiceHosting, the starter plan allows 5.5 gig so that should help. Even so there is something you can do to cut back on spam here. When you sign up, you will get a link to log on your control panel and will find that you can enable Spam Assassin. See the help site for more on how to configure it. If you have any more questions, just ask, we will be glad to answer you. And we will be just a glad to welcome you to the family!
  17. Ok, you made me laugh
  18. Bandwidth is all incoming and out going traffic. So yes e-mail sent to you, and then looked at by you on web mail or downloaded to a pop client as well as ftp uploads and downloads. In other words any activity incoming or out going counts, or think of it as whenever your part of the server is accessed. The e-mail on your server counts when it arrives, and again when you look at it, but if you leave it there it is just taking up space, unless you look at it again. Hope that makes sense.
  19. No, you will have to edit all the pages one time to add the includes. But a good text editor or search and replace tool can help. But once you have made the changes it will be well worth it. For those that are wondering why coleary wants to do this, try the mini php tutorials from Total Choice hosting. php mini tutorial by Jim Uni and php mini part one tutorial by TCH-Jack to see how well the includes work. A quick change in the header can make the whole site look different.
  20. So with your great luck so far Thumbs Up why not say yes. PHP can add alot to your site. moving to dreamweaver forum.
  21. I just tried mine and it works ok. Submit a help ticket, link at top of this page.
  22. A zip file will prompt the user to save to a file on their computer, where as others may not, and will require a right click save-as so if you zip all the files as one, it will be easier for a neophyte.
  23. Also many IPS's will limit the size of an e-mail. Downloading from your site can be much faster than e-mail Why not zip it up and put it on your site, and send them a link. Then they only have to click on the link to the zip file to be prompted to save it.
  24. David, sometimes the pins on a strip can oxidize, if the memory is old enough, and may just need to be cleaned or reseated a few times.
  25. Glad you are happy here and Welcome to the family if you need anything, just ask your family here.
