Then after it propagates (all the name servers in the world update) about 72 hours, remove the forwards at enom and if you want you set new forwards here to go wherever you want. They can also still send with their addys from you via their ISP by making a copy of their ISP e-mail account and changing the e-mail address to the one you supplied. The easiest way is to export the current account, then modify it to reflect the addy from you, with a new discription like send as (addy from you) then import the original one back. Remove the include this account when receiving e-mail from the copy. But now it will be a choice as one of the addys to send as. They may have to change to port 26 under advanced>out going mail.

Yes, in fact you should only have one or the other. so as long as the others you mentioned do not check their e-mail via web mail or e-mail client software for those addys, you only need a forward.

I set a contact page to send to an alias (non existent) address, then forward it to dept1 and dept2 and so forth. if you need anything, just ask your new family.

HI RH, Any e-mail that is sent to an unknown account at your domain name, such as unknown@******, gets automatically rerouted to your default e-mail account. All web site accounts are automatically assigned a default e-mail address - user@****** - which you can change in cpanel > email > default address. Welcome to the family, Jill It sounds like you installed to a root folder which is necessary, and then moved the folder below another folder. All the paths are fixed to where it was installed and will only work where you originally installed it. It may be possible to download the latest version and try to install into a sub-sub-folder. If you do download, there are install instructions that come with it.

They are working for me, I get several each hour. Both to forums I have subscibed to and replys.

Steve, if you could not login with the default test and 123 as user and password, and if adding a user to the guestbook from cpanel > Manage MySql and near the bottom you can create a new user, then just above that, add the new user to the guest book. (Look near the top to see the name of the guest book like cpanelname_agbook1 just add the new user to that database) if all that did not help, then I think you need to ask support for help (help desk link at top of page).

Glad you figured it out, it can be confusing. So to summarize: in cpanel, create the sub-domain, then create the ftp account. Then for ftp setup: Site name: anything you want to describe the account Host: ftp.example.com user name: xyz@example.com Password: ******** remote directory: is left blank This will take the ftp user to the sub domain and will not be able to access the rest of your account.
