Welcome to the family, jstuckle! As to adding to the .htaccess file for server side includes like php see Apache Handlers and parsing html files for php commands. I have my htm, html and shtml files parsed for php. I believe with php includes you can use DOCUMENT_ROOT to include regardless of the method used to access the site. AS in <?php include $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']."/inc/header.php"; ?> hope this helps
-
Glad you got it working Thumbs Up you can add an image that is on your site with the img tag or use the file attachments, below the entry window to browse to a file on your computer, to display a screen capture.

Hi Malcolmd, in your welcome e-mail you will get the information on connecting to your web space using IP://~username and how to set up your ftp before changing your DNS Yes you can have your domain name auto renew here. I believe you have to ask about the one fee for both account and transfer. cpanel has been promising the new demo to be back up, for a while. I hope they get it working soon.

Just enter lost as the pass word, and include all other info so they can reset it.

You will need to submit a help desk ticket, link at top of this page. The tech staff will get you set up. And Welcome to the family Ender! if you need anything else, just ask your family!

TCH-Don replied to whoisjohngalt's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Procmail is not installed. And the last I heard, cPanel isnt fully supporting it yet -
Glad things are working out Thumbs Up

You may not point a second domain name to a sub-folder or sub-domain with a regular account. see new AUP Policy Changes!

Epix, it looks like we are not perfect We missed giving you a welcome, so Welcome to the family Thumbs Up if you post in the introductions forum, you will get the full warm welcome
-
Sorry to hear about that. Your welcome e-mail will have your login info to billing, and there you can change your credit card info. If that does not work, as James mentioned, submit a help ticket (link above)

Gabe, what a great link!

You are welcome. I freaked out the first time I saw the same attempts in my stats, but now I ignore them, as I use a php form, I am hopefully a little safer
-
Drew, on second glance I saw subject, and realized its the attempt of a spammer trying to see if you have formmail.pl installed. And of course the spammer was foiled. there is nothing to worry about, you will see this a lot.

CN, if you have any questions on setting up Outlook there is a page on the TotalChoice Help site to explain it in detail. Many family members use Outlook, and can give more help if needed. Hope to see you in the introduction forum soon Thumbs Up

One Of My Clients Received This In There Mailbox
TCH-Don replied to greatfolios sysop's topic in Open Discussion
Yep its annoying when someone you know has a virus, and try to share with you I get many every so often, just have to wait a while until they get it fixed. Mad!!! -
Welcome to the family Drew You may want to submit a help ticket to have tech support look at your e-mail.
-
Yea! see you in the introduction forum for your official warm welcome
-
Thank you for the update, this may help others.

Your default e-mail is your catch all address. Any e-mail sent to your domain that is not addressed to an account you have created will be forwarded to your default account. This can be helpful as well as pain. Pain as in spam addressed to anything at your site. Helpful as in you can give out an address on the fly that you make up to use to register for something without giving out an address you normally use. Later you can forward it to :blackhole: if you get spam from it.
-
You are welcome
-
Yes, you can :blackhole: your primary e-mail account so only accounts you create will get e-mail see Block e-mail to non-existent address on the help site.

I seem to remember that if they do not see anything for 10 seconds they will move on. So be sure they have something for them to see right away. I believe the majority are still on dial-up, so you may want to get a free dial-up account like netzero to check on your site now and then. It can be an eye opener
-
Also remember you are responsible for the actions of anyone with access to your site. There is now way to limit how much that someone else can upload to your site this way. It may be better to chip in and get a reseller account. If you have any more questions, just ask your new family

Welcome to the family andrewerbs see the new AUP additions. just remember you can't point another domain name at a sub-domain.
-
To answer your first question, see Setting Up A Web Page Redirect, cPanel change or .htaccess edit I can't help with the layout as I have not used PHP-Nuke. Hope this helps.
