Email - Forwards - Autoresponders
TCH-Don replied to scotttyz's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
LOL let us know how it works for you. the forward is a great tool. I use it to distribute a contact page entry to three departments by using an alias address in the contact page and then forwarding it to each person. -

Ok, I tried both ways creating an account for the auto responder and just picking a name for the auto responder and it work for both. So just create forwards her@ ->another@ her@ ->nothere@ create auto responder for nothere@ and it works! -
under horde options > other options > login tasks you can select folder navagator as View or mailbox to display after login not sure if that is what you had in mind.

No, you can only use user@yourdomain I tried to set up an ftp account as me@mysite.com for one of my domains and appeared to set it up, but when I looked at the ftp accounts it changed to me@myrealdomain.com so it just used the name before the @ for the user. sorry. On a related note when you setup an ftp account, you do not have to use the name of a folder for the user. You can set up user and password and then replace the folder name with something else such as files. this will give you added security, since the user is now different from the folder. To guess the access, someone will have to guess both user and password instead of just the password.

Welcome to the family Steve! I am not familiar with that software, but I am sure it will work here if it works anywhere. Your welcome e-mail has all the information on configuring an FTP program, and that is the same info you will need to configure any program you use. Again welcome, if you need anything just ask your new family.

Timur, Congratulations! and best of luck Thumbs Up -
Two things come to mind: In cpanel > email > filtering you can add a filter for any header that contains the IP address set to discard. If that does not work, maybe a help ticket with as much info as possible. No guarantees, but maybe they can help.

Are There Any Streaming Video Experts Out There?
TCH-Don replied to jandafields's topic in Open Discussion
I am sorry that you have not received any response. I am guessing that not many on shared servers have a lot of experience with the high demands of video streaming. -
I think you just drove my spell checker crazy

Which Is Worse– Microsoft, Or Their Viruses? :d
TCH-Don replied to snipe's topic in Security Discussions
Vary interesting! With cheap computers and fast connections, more and more neophytes are connecting to the great world wide web. With no previous experience, and being trusting, they set them-selfs up for trouble. Yes its is the fault of the operating system, but any one with a little initiative can educate them-selfs enough to protect not only their computer, but the rest of us as well. Of course we know this will not happen. The people connecting to the web today are greatly different than the ones from years ago. Maybe a license to connect, like a license to drive is needed moving to a better forum. -
You are welcome, the wait for your own ISP is the longest
-
Just like a regular domain, after you point your parked domain to the TCH nameservers, it can take up to 72 hours for all the ISP's to update their nameservers so everyone can see the new location for your parked domain.

Yes a non css browser will see the default colors, but will remain usable.
