I did find one post that may answer your question. It seems you can get your own cert and share it with your clients if you use the way shown in that post. But its best to open a help ticket to the techs to get a answer.

If you are a reseller it will not work. There is no shared SSL on reseller accounts. You would need to have your own SSL on a reseller.

Maybe a help ticket is worth the try to see if they know a way to get cpanel to see your current install. One other option might be the changed files only after a backup of mods of course.

What is listserv? some kind of script for email list? if so do they have a forum or FAQ area? where did you get it? Sorry I can't help much as I do not know what it is.

If it works for one person but not another, is has to be the settings used by the first person Is this an account on our servers? if so you can open a help ticket to have the techs look at your account.

When you opened the ticket did you get an e-mail back with a link to check on the ticket to see if it has been looked at. If not check your spam or trash folders. you should always get an auto reply e-mail right away and you can use the link in it to check back to see the progress.

Welcome, It means they have the right to display your content on their server (your web space) and make backup copies of your data (server backups). But you are still responsible for your own backups.

You can register a new domain name and then submit a help ticket to have it parked on top of your existing account, and its easy.

For me a page that shows the server is working is fine. if I want more info I can goto my cpanel and check on the server.

cpanel will not allow sub sudomains. Bobs idea is the best if they are to have access to their folder. In that case they can use ftp and they be taken to their folder without the ability to go higher up.
