Leezard, Which country are you in? Stateside? Jim -
Hi, I suggest you rebuild it again then, but a firewall will not stop the messages you are getting Jim

Hi, I have already answered the question in the original place you asked it: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...opic=3407&st=15 Basically you got spyware on your computer! Jim
-
Hi, Yes, thats correct Jim

Hi, I chucked a huge amount out over the weekend, but before the weekend I had about 5 hdd, 2x socket 7 motherboards with appropiate processors, 2x PCGA socket boards (the old celeron ones), a few soundcards and modems. All got chucked although I took a hammer to each one before I took it to the skip so that the tip people couldn't take it home and use it! Jim

Hi. , This is a piece of advertisment caused by spyware. Either the spyware is in the program you just downloaded or you have something a bit more sinster. Run a few of the free "ad-removal" scans over your system and delete anything they pick up, then see if it still occurs! Jim

Steve, All information given too us is stored under correct guidelines as set out in the law. What this does mean is whilst the normal tom, dick and harry won't be able to know who is behind the site, if asked by a law enforcement agency (but not restriced to law enforcement) then under law, we would have to supply the information. This will be the same whereever you go, and even your godaddy people will be under the same rules and regs. In other words, unless you break the law, your information is secure with us! Jim

Hi, Actually if your coding for bobby, you should not be using Javascript unless you can provide an alternative. I have desinged a univeristy site last year using ASP which is all server side work so that colours and text sizes remain constant when selected by the disabled user. Practing working with bright orange and purple text hurts your eyes after a while. Some companies have expressed intrest in my coding too Dance Jim

Hi, No company ever gives away how many users or clients it has, but its safe to say that Total Choice Web Hosting has clients stretching into easily the thousands and its also safe to say that unlike other Web hosting companies, not only is Total Choice Web Hosting here to stay but that Total Choice Web Hosting really does rock! Hi, I call it a "splash" screen. You will be unable to add Webprotection to the main WWW folder. Jim

Hi, I dont know about Rewrite for it. Some grabbers spoof themselves so you wont see it as a grabber. A quick google shows: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows MAX; FullPatchVer.) Mozilla/6.1 (compatible; MSIE 7.0a; Windows Whistler2K2 alpha) This may explain some things Jim

Hi, First of all, ask your mum to stop tagging all your messages as spam, this could end up with you having serious problems in the future. Bill, Rick or Mitch should look at this more in depth for you, but your husbands IT department could be blocking it for a whole number of reasons, not just spam. Jim
-
Hi, Hmm, not heard of them, but its possible to spoof the MSIE number if your using some grabbing programs. Jim
-
Blimey, wish my ISP was like that. All i got free from them was a bill! Jim

Hi, If your on a dial up acccount, you may wish to test before moving Jim

Hi, That shows its a cache problem. Domain names are cached, as far as I know, direct IP ones are not hence the results you see. Email your ISP. Jim
-
Hi, What occurs is your ISP "caches" the domain so when you look at it, your not looking at the newest copy, only one that is several hours or days old. As Scott said, email your ISP! Jim
-
Hi Joe, I am glad you have found the place you have been looking for. Remember, there is no such thing as a "dumb" question, in fact the only "dumb" question is the one you never ask! Jim

Hi, I admit to using the Macromedia Suite of Fireworks MX, Flash MX, Dreamweaver MX and also things like Photoshop but nothing beats windows good old Notepad. As a side note, contribute is great unless your using DIV tags or anything beyound what you would do in horrible FP in which case it becomes rather usless. Jim
