Your questions are extremely vague and make me think that you are either new to PHP or have not yet started learning it.

As I explain in the news I made some changes after releasing 1.5 RC1 and so to avoid confusion I changed the version number for the next release.
-
Revamped the lazarus site and released a release candidate of 1.5.1

All hail the might mnenomic. Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

Pie. I wish I could determine pi, Eureka cried the great inventor, Christmas pudding, Christmas pie, is the problems very centre.

Just thought I would post that Lazarus 1.5 RC1 is available to download from http://lazarus.carbonize.co.uk and requires you to have 1.4 already installed. A lot of changes (specialy to template system), easier IP banning via easy admin, image uploading should work on servers in safe mode (not TC) and no longer use shell commands (which I was informed are against some hosts terms).

Works for me though because I'm number one on Google if you search for Carbonize and have been for a few years now I'm also first for a search for Yahoo archive reader which was a program I once wrote and made a page for it partly for people to download from but also as an exercise in SEO.

If you just type something that isn't a url into the address bar of Firefox it performs an I Feel Lucky Google search thereby taking you to the first result from the search.

Manually installing a script is always recommended given cPanels recent history of messing scripts up. It is easy to manually install a script and if you are not to sure about making databases etc then just get the database information from your current BB and use that when installing the new one. If it's the same script then remember to specify a different prefix to the forum tables. Most scripts let you do that when installing.

Things like that are why I have Firefox set to not allow javascript to change the text in the status bar. Personally I'd suggest getting one of dynamicdrive.com that does what you want and nothing more. That way the file size will be smaller and save your bandwidth (a little).

There have been a couple of times, even over the last few days, where the Gmail server is down for some reason. Possible reasons are that they are updating the software/scripts or just that the server is overloaded.

Probably easiest to just goto http://proxy2.de and download the guestbook from there and install it yourself. Heard nothing but problems with cPanel installs of Advanced Guestbook lately. Or use Lazarus.

I wrote a FAQ for Lazarus which can be found at http://lazarus.carbonize.co.uk/faq.php I went for the method of putting the questions at the top of the page which link to the answers which are further down the page.

Obviously you have anti hotlinking and it was blocking the page because of th ereferer. Anyway you could use CSS to set the size of the login box and inputs then use CSS to position it in top right using position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0;

We cannot access that image. The .htaccess file you have in there may be preventing us.
-
You don't have permission to access /cfb/pics/themes/cfbm/bg.png on this server.
-
Using CSS made the page fill with input boxes?
-
Use CSS to specify exact heights and widths for the inputs etc.

I already have it. As a web designer/scripter I have four browsers (Firefox, IE, Opera and lynx) I check my work in as should all web designers/coders.

I used to use Opera 6.x but feel it has gone downhill since version 7. It now supports sloppy HTML and CSS like IE does which, as I'm sure many will agree, is bad as it encourages sloppy HTML and CSS. I do think Opera are starting to get desperate for a market share as why else would they be looking at incorporating a bit torrent client into the browser?

What exactly is it you want the forms to do? I mean obviously if it's not just to email the data to you then dada mail is of no use at all.

How To Prevent Spambot From Detecting Emails From
carbonize replied to gm1234's topic in Security Discussions
I thought about using this once to prevent spam on my guestbook but it is a bad idea due to certain firewalls and browsers blocking referers. -
And next I will make a knife and spoon.
