It's just a USB stick that has been partioned and some FREE open source software slapped on it. You can buy a decent 256Mb usb stick for about £40 over here. So thats about $100 pure profit for them.

The install.php file for Lazarus has three options when you run it 1 - Do a complete install 2 - Upgrade Advanced Guestbook 2.3.x to Lazarus 3 - Lazarus to Lazarus update. Advanced Guestbook 2.3.1, 2.3.2 and 2.3.3 all use the exact same database the only changes were to the codebase.

cPanel have seriously messed up their latest installers. Had nothing but people with problems installing/updating the Advanced Guestbook. This is why I always recommend installing/pgrading scripts yourself. Which advanced guestbook was it?

I believe the stats for google.com show 17.5% Firefox users. My own sites stats reflect this level also.

You adjust the time/date in gmdate() exactly as you would in date() it's just that you know exactly the timezone you are adjusting from.

To my knowledge Viper is a dead project. but they do not mention if it will use the same database format as Viper to let you upgrade easily. Odds are they will. Wonder why nobody suggested the easiest fix for Minhea's problem which is to change date() to gmdate()

Bet when you saw the five emails you would of received saying you had received a reply you thought one of them may of been the answer. Instead the sixth reply is the answer. Go figure. Anyway to use the edit templates section of the Admin you need to CHMOD the template files to 777. Personally I don't recommend this and suggest that you download the files to your computer first and edit them on there before uploading them again.

My question is why would you want it? Firefox already has Google search and pop up stopping built in.

What I mean is that spammers are sending requests to your site for webpages and putting in a fake referer in the hope that you have a publically available list of refers

I do believe they offer a trial version of 2 on their website with but you are supposed to stop using it after 30 days or pay for it

1.3.1 was the last free version and either used the same database or had an upgrade script with it. I believe 1.3.1 is offered in cPanel.

I tried PHP Designer once as well as their HTML program. They both felt unfinished to me. I still recommend PSPad as the best text editor out there with tabs, syntax highlighting, auto complete, FTP client etc etc.

So you are saying the file is actually there or just that it is showing as a 200 in the log?

Wow he really messed things up in 2.3.3. Can you email me your add.class.php file and I will check it for errors. The amount of stupid errors he made in Advanced Guestbook is why I made Lazarus.

ps. I could easily alter the above script to send them to a nwe page upon success as well as just having the form in your page submit the data to the script rather than putting the script in your page.

Email me a copy of the form you want to use, any restrictions imposed on the inputs, which (if any) inputs are required, which inputs need to be verified and for what (ie email address, url) and what you want to happen upon a successful submittal and upon an error (ie new page, message where form was etc).
