VTI is FrontPage. They are not necessary, you can uninstall them via your cPanel. Make a backup of your .htaccess file first if you have made any changes to it though.

Per Thomas in another post; Per http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/manual.php#group_cp, section 4.3 is the group control panel; Section 4.8 there is where you can set album properties and enable users to upload files. Just allow users to upload only to that one album. Let us know if that is not quite what you were looking for.

Please understand that while we have users that use SMF here, they are not on all of the time, so just because there has not been an answer in two hours does not mean that there is no answer. Please have some patience and yes, Aaron is right, there is no need to bump the thread.

Well, I looked at the way the code shows on your page and what it shows on the site you got the nav code from. I see you have coords="407,8,446,20". I am guessing that is where the problem might be. You might need to adjust those. I have been wrong in the past so I would hang tight until someone comes along with a bit more experience in this though just to be safe.

James, I have always had sub-pages get better placement than my main page. At one time I think I had about 20 or so pages show better than my index. It really doesnt matter in my eyes. Any visit to my site no matter if it is my index or another page is fine by me. There is no penalty for having sub-pages having a better ranking than your index page.
