Welcome to the forums. I assume that you have the following in your FTP program; Here's the info you'll need to use an FTP program: Host name: ftp.tripod.com User ID: Your Tripod member name Password: Your Tripod password Directory: Leave this field empty to FTP to your root directory (you can choose a subdirectory later if you wish) Should you have this information correct then I would ask tripod and see what they might have to say.

I'm New To Websites And Can't Get Mine Up
TCH-Rob replied to AEROFRESH's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
Welcome to the forums, AEROFRESH. One of the first things I would do is look to Google and search for "how to make a web page". You can get a good start with some tutorials there and of course we will be happy to help where we can. -
Keep us posted and welcome to the forums.

Reseller accounts can have as many domains as you want, as long as it fits in your alloted space. Aaron, I have COX, use port 26. Welcome to the forums Nylisk

Get well soon Liz

Wow, mine came within minutes.

Tim, Glad you got it sorted out.

In your cPanel go to "Redirects" and in the fields leave domain.com blank and in the second box enter "www.domain.com/folder". Use the dropdown to make it permanent and that should be it. You can also edit your .htaccess to add the line "RedirectMatch permanent ^/$ http://www.domain.com/folder"

In your admin section go to the "Modules" menu and then "Shipping". What do you have enabled there?
-
I doubt that is it now that I have looked at it. How about a low order fee or a per item fee as well as a flat rate?
-
Tim, Check the tare weight in your admin section. I believe it is under the shipping section. That might be it.

Heidi, Don about summed it up. Welcome to the forums and let us know if you need further explanation.
-
I will send it when I get home Don.

Don, What server are you on? Have you tried opening a ticket? Though I can't say for sure, SSL might need to be restarted. Only the techs that have access to the servers can say for sure though. I know on my server https seems to be working fine. Edit: Or Bill can beat me to the punch.
-
Of course we do. Just remember, there are no guarantees that you will get them. The owner can renew or someone could have back ordered it before you.

Seems I have lost my manners. Welcome to the forums, xXAlmightyBobXx

Open your folder navigator by clicking on the Folder icon at the top of the web-mail client. Using the drop-down menu where it says "Choose Action" select "Create Folder". In the pop-up window, type "subfolder 1/subsubfolder 1" and click OK. This sets up the sub and subsub. To add another subsub, check the sub and select Create folder again. In the pop-up box type "subsubfolder 2" Rinse and repeat. I have successfully gone 3 folders deep.

This whole time none of you could tell me that I can't spell? So that's what all that laughing I heard was. Not that it matters, I am changing the name. I think it could bring traffic that I may not want. Still, this is the logo type that I am looking for. Thanks for the help guys, I will have to play around with it.
-
Sure you can. Get whatever name you want, just point it to the IP of the computer at your house or use a DNS service to point it there. It is your domain name, do what you want with it.

Well, from what I know of Serpentine, at least he is comfortable with the idiot factor.

The text is actually black and I am using a white to black gradient and mask on the layer above it. Every change I have made to the text layer itself maken no difference in the outcome of the final product.
-
See there, I am glad you found the problem.
