Great interview Mitch, although I think you were helped by one very talented lady Now I can't wait until Nov 11 to buy the new Album

Just add a support ticket, and we'll send the trash van round to take it away If it was a process that has created the files where you are not the owner, then you will not have permission to remove it, and the only way if for us to do it for you. Make sure you let us know exactly which files you want removing. Andy

lol We'll get some of the tech support team to have a look at him Congratulations Mike, I'm really pleased to hear the news, going to be great working with you Andy

Hi, You need something to trigger / run a PHP script, so you can not do it as a "non-event-driven" command as far as I am aware. There are 2 other possible solutions. 1. you create the script, and run it yourself on a regular basis, or attach it to a page / event that get's run at the right sort of frequency. 2. you set up a Cron Job to run on a monthly basis, which executes your PHP script to check the database and send out an email. I'd go for option 2 myself Andy

Excellent News - Congratulations Rick

Definitely a .htaccess problem, so no server side issues Bill It should be all OK now. Let me know if anyone has any problems seeing it Andy

I have the ticket - I'll have a look ...

Hi, If it was Hotlinking, I would expect to affect everyone - not just you. But it could be linked to that it some way. If Mitzi submits a ticket to the help desk, then I'll have a look (I need the username / password to do so). Andy

Hi Elaine, Welcome to the Family here :-) I assume you see grapics elsewhere and on other sites. (ie they arent turned off on your browsers). Can you try mitzi-bear.com/ as well as mitzi-bear.com (note the trailing slash on the first one) please. Andy

Jared, I need to look at the source code to take this much further. Can you PM or IM me? Andy
-
If she tried 4, and none of them worked I would suspect that the problem was more her side than yours - since everyone else can see them fine If you get anyone else ccomplaining that they can not see some of them either, then either PM me, or submit a support ticket and we'll have a look at your htaccess file - but it isn't likely to have cnaged itself Andy

Hi Mitzi, I checked in IE and Mozilla Firebird - Both worked OK for me Do you know which browser gave the error? Andy
-
You're in the wrong part of the UK Jim - Lot's of sunshine this morning OK, so it didn't last long and it's now all clouded over, but I promise I did see a big bright thing in the sky - the sun does exist Andy

Hi James Welcome to the Family As long as you provide the correct links to them, the files can be anywhere. From a security and organisational viewpoint I prefer not to have them in the same directory as my main html code. No, that doesn't make any difference, as long as you are uploading them correctly to the server. I would check the files to make sure that none have been chopped, either in your editing, or by the FTP upload. I would guess this is the most likely cause of the error. If you can't find any errors, then post again, and we'll take a look at the code. Andy

Hi Susan, Welcome to the Family The first thing I would try is uninstalling and reinstalling the FP extensions in cPanel. If that doesn't work, add a ticket at the support desk and we'll take a look at it for you. Andy

Hi, If you put a ticket into the support desk, telling us exactly which files you want deleting (or everything in trash) then we will empty it for you Andy

Congratulations Thanks for the pictures - it's lovely to see the youngest additions to the family. And the "new baby's first pic" is certainly young Andy

DDOS attacks are usually relatively short term issues whilst we get things under control. During the period of the attack you would not be able to pick up email. Once the situation was resolved, then life should return to normal, you could pick up your emails and the site would be back online. Andy

ztraug, Thanks for the comments With regard to the lost post - we don't delete them. There has been a little reorganisation of the forum recently and things have moved around. Can you let us know the date of the post (and possibly title, if you can remember) & we'll see if we can find it for you.

Please do not post the same question in multiple forums. I will leave the question at Shtml problem but will close the other threads.

Simplyjond, Welcome to the family You seem to have done everything right. I suggest you submit a support ticket and we'll test it out for you. Please give us the username / password (via the help desk) of one of the emails to test as well. Andy
