  1. Hi, which one are you trying to use, and what are the problems you are getting? I think most people use the oscommerce cart in terms of the free ones from cPanel, and it seems to work well. Andy
  2. Special Delivery on order...
  3. Jim, Excellent comments - thanks Andy
  4. He's lost weight
  5. During propagation (which typically takes up to 72 hours) you will find that your domain appears for a while, then goes again - this is normal. Hopefully over the next couple of days it will sort itself out.
  6. You should never take the cover off a robot to see what is underneath - that is scarry !!!! Please can someone ut the cover back on
  7. Will this finally answer the question - is HG really a robot?
  8. Terry, Have a look at The Ultimate PHP Form Mail Script Andy
  9. A picture of HG, in all his glory - now that is worth staying up for I may be in the UK, and a different time zone, but I'm looking forward to this :-)
  10. It appears to be still available - my recommendation would be to purchase it from Domain name purchase.
  11. Hi, What is the domain name? Andy
  12. Jen, Of course you can Diskspace is $1.75 / month per extra 10MB Bandwidth is $2.50 / month per extra 1GB Andy
  13. Thanks for the kind words And welcome to the forums, it's always good to here from the family members :-)
  14. Soni, Yes, you can pay month by month. No, there should be no fee for changing the domain from pointing at one server to another. Andy
  15. Hi Soni, I would start by deciding which of our web hosting plans is right for you, and then simple click on the order button at the bottom of the page on the plan you want. Your account will be set up within 12 hours of us recieving payment. You can then upload your website to our servers. You can then ask your friend to change your domain to point to our servers. - Your site will then be live around the world within 72 hours. I would then look at transferring the domain name into your own name, from your friends. A bulletin board is relatively easy to set up - just a few clicks of buttons. There are plenty of people here who will help you make a few modifications to the bulletin board, help you install picture galleries software etc. Andy

  17. Hi, Yes, it does me to - usually someone who has bought a domain name on the grounds that it might be useful to someone - they will usually sell it to you for to much money - but you can always try out your negotiating skills if it is one you really like.
  18. Hi, My 2c worth 1. .com is not the only acceptable name, but people tend to put a .com after your name if they know who you are and want to get to your website. ie. if you are lunardesigns, then in my mind most people will try lunardesigns.com to find you. When they don't they may go to the search engine and find you (but if lunardesigns.com offers what they want they may just stay there). 2. If the .com is not available - I would look what the .com site is about - if it is offering services similar to you, then I would not take the .biz name for the reasons outlined above 3. Personally I would go with my instincts. Believe in yourself and have confidence, because you are right - you know more about your company, direction and what you wish to present than they do. Your subconscious will tell you the right answer 4. I favour creating something new, that way there is no problem with being unique, and easily found in searches. However, that is my personal bias and anyway I would have more faith in 3, above. I hope that helps Andy

  20. Two of us working on the case, even at this time of day - now that's what I call support
  21. Jerry, I replied to your ticket on the help desk a while ago - please update things through that route Andy
  22. steve1, Links to you, not links from you. Andy
  23. Hi David, 1. You should not have problems here with emails taking several hours to leave our servers. 2. The attached information you provided does not give information on bandwidth. However if this is for a month it seems to suggest that you check you E-mail every 30 seconds, day and night - that seems a little frequent. I would suggest droping it to several minutes. Either that or I've just misread the figures reading it quickly. 3. If you set the spam filters up properly, then yes, I would expect a significant drop in spam getting through to you. Andy
  24. Hi K_M, Can you start a support ticket, and we'll have a look at things for you. Do you get the same problem with Horde or Neomail? is it just sqmail? What TCH pages are you getting a repeated refresh on? I've just checked the main pages, and I am not getting a refresh - is anyone else? The server reporting status pages have a refresh on, otherwise we couldn't maintain a constantly updated set of status reports. Andy
  25. Temp and Cache are the same thing on your PC. If you are using Internet Explorer try pressing Ctrl and the F5 key when viewing your page to force a refresh. Andy
