Man..of all things to request...this would definitely be the hardest to accomplish

Hey Folks. It's pretty obvious, we wouldn't be here without you, our family. Which brings me to the point of this post...what would you like to see added to TCH? What can we do to make TCH even better for you? Let's pull no punches..no matter how big or small...I'd like to know what you want to see. I'm looking forward to reading tons of new suggestions

Sounds great Betty...you won't be disappointed, we are truly a family here.

While mostly cosmetic, this is now fixed.. I just checked the SSL certification and it now shows that it was issued to server54.totalchoicehosting.com as it should. As always, don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything further.

Hi Ace... We use a combination of customized iptables rules on the server, as well as hardware firewalls on the actual network. Your servers are very safe. You should of course still take the normal precautions, as firewalls are only so much help. However, the systems are firewalled.

Great SaintsLair As always, don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions at all.

Hi PBrennan, You could do this on a dedicated server, however not on the shared servers. We offer CPanel with the servers, however this control panel is only for hosting and such, has no gaming features.
-
Hi Andy.. We do all activations manually to perserve the integrity of each accounts, therefore you should receive the email within 24 hours with your new account information. Thanks, and welcome to the family.

Great Welcome to the family Santolina!

There will be fields when you are submitting a ticket to put in your cpanel username/password. The Helpdesk is on a secure 128bit encrypted connection..it's safe to submit the username/password through the helpdesk.

Andy, The domain can always be changed, and whatever domain you use, as long as your nameservers aren't yet pointed to us, the domain won't be affected.
-
You might check out http://rsc.cx/docs/chmod.html as well...it's a pretty decent but short chmod tutorial
-
Big Gorilla, Thanks for letting us know. Alan will take a look at all the systems, there may be a few that have special circumstances, however, any that don't, we'll move over to PureFTPd or at least resolve the identd check issue. Again, thanks for letting us know.

I chmod 755'd everything...It probably needs tweaked a bit, but I've found with permissions, it's usually easiest to set them 755 temporarily, than once it works, slowly restrict the permissions better.
-
natimage, I tweaked the permissions a little bit on your /Invision/ folder, and now as far as I can tell, it's fixed. Please let me know if you find otherwise.
-
Check your codebase, I'm not sure offhand if it's requesting a URL or filename, however http://candywrapperz.com/home/www doesn't look correct. /home/username/www/ is your root html directory.

Well..it was about 65 degrees here on christmas Today it's rainy and nasty. I have to go up north to see snow (in Georgia.)

Yep, This is how it's intended, you should have to do a POP3 auth first, or use your POP3 login information (I usually use pop3 login info)
-
GdP, Try to send SMTP through another server other than yours You can only use the SMTP server if you either login, or use the same IP as you did for checking POP3.
-
still working on it...This forum is getting quite large, and it's really not able to handle it. We are investigating the possibility to switch to a much better (but more expensive) forum software. Stay tuned, we'll have it fixed soon....thanks

Hi Thomas! That 2 of 50 is for the whole server actually, not just your account. Just means there's another customer on the server uploading.

Kinda off topic, but I noticed that TCH is listed on top for "total choice" above DirecTV's Total Choice package deal and all...kinda interesting, I would have thought DirecTV's thing would be on top Kudos to Scott and team....I wish I understood more about Search Engine Optimizing I bought the Google Hacks book, but haven't even cracked it yet.

Hiya. If you just want all mail to example.com (example.com being your domain) to go to another address, you should just set the "Default" (or Catch All) address in your mail menu to the address you want it all forwarded too. That'll make any mail sent to an address which doesn't have a mailbox to be sent to this address.
