    Pics

Sorry, still not much info for us to go on. I'm going to guess. Are you are trying to put your pics into a subdirectory and display that image on the home page such as: All my pictures are in a folder in public_html/images/ I want to see mypic.jpg on the index.html page If this scenario is close, then there are two big things to watch out for: 1. Case Sensitivity - your filenames and folder name is case sensitive, check the capitalization of your img src= statement. 2. The subdirectory (folder) that you put your pics in should be a single word, no spaces. Like images or pics or mystuff. If the folder name has spaces in it (two or more words) then the URL translates differently (with a %20 inserted in the URL).
  3. CAUTION!!!! Prolonged use of extremely high speed internet connections have been know to produce wildly evident withdrawal symptoms in individuals temporarily subjected to dialup connections! Use at your own risk! Welcome Home, HG!

Thanks. I hated it as a kid. No personalized pencils, license plates for the bicycle, name plates for the light switch...you know. I had even asked my Mom for permission to petition a judge to have my name changed when I was 12. She's a smart Mom and pretty much laughed me out of the room.

MoonFaery, Here's a How-To that I had put together for a scrolling iframe implementation in CuteSITE Builder. Same principles, just the directions are catered to CSB. http://www.stoverdatasystems.com/scrolltest/
  7. Matman, thanks for the great explanation of the TCH Tech Support functions. You were spot-on. jqcotten and matman, I don't know if this will help a whole lot, but aMember uses Paypal's IPN function and puts everything into a database. You could possibly use their structure as a model for what you need to accomplish. You can check out aMember at their site. I have installed it and implemented the IPN from Paypal, but I don't know how much help I would be. Good luck to you.
  8. I posted at 11:07am that it is working and it is now 12:20pm and it is still working. If the subdomain will work for some and not others, it eliminates TCH as the problem. Do a tracert to the subdomain and see where it's getting dropped.
  9. I think my pick is a new-comer that seems to have been paying attention and just caught my eye. Sample rock thread. MoonFaery rocks!
  10. I am former FP. Got out in October 2002. I consider myself quite lucky and feel for the ones that didn't get out any sooner. TCH is a great home and I'm ecstatic that I happened across them.
  11. Ok, so as I read through all of the posts here, I find that more and more family members are chipping in. So, I want to know - Who Rocks? Pick ONE person that you think rocks. That person can be Member/Mod/Admin, makes no difference. But you can only name one. Now, take your time and be really thoughtful of the title you wish to bestow and upon whom. I'd like to see a truly reflective list here. It's not a contest, not a race, not a winner, not a loser. Just a list.
  12. I can also tell you that providing technical support over a variety of cpanel themes would be a nightmare. It's really nice right now to be able to point folks in the right direction, knowing that they are seeing what you are describing. Much easier to support.
  13. http://aaron.ransplace.com/ Works for me.
  14. Maybe it's just too early in the morning for me, but I'm a bit confused by your questions. WHM is not available to your clients. That is the Web Host Manager console that YOU will be using to setup and manage your resold accounts. Your clients never see that app. They do see cPanel and that is their console for setup and maintenance of their site and email, etc. phpBB and many other features that come with cPanel have their own Admin panel. I think this is what you are talking about. When the feature is installed by the client via cPanel, there will directions for access the admin panel. What change of server? Do you mean when the Name Servers are changed for a domain so that it points to TCH? Although the emails are domain-based as you say, they will need to be created on the TCH servers through cPanel. Then when the name servers are changed the email transition becomes a bit less noticable...maybe. I say that because Outlook Express, or other email client, may have to be set up or modified to the settings TCH requires.
  15. Welcome home!
  16. Congrats to the winners! (Hmmm....now how is it that my pic isn't posted? ...maybe next time, eh! )
  17. Sorry for the delay. You shouldn't have any probem using CartIT, but I will try to test it tonight to see for sure. I guess my question is that if you plan to use paypal only then why not use paypal's shopping cart service? Just a thought.
  18. Sorry, but this is really a GoDaddy question. See if they have some FAQ's or tech support channels that you can followup with. Because every registrar is different, it would be nearly impossible for us to have all the answers here. Maybe another GoDaddy user is in the family here though and can help out.
  19. Hey, Mikey!!! Welcome home.
  20. Check this one out. Another TCH client has this used and says it's a snap. Coppermine
  21. The absolutely best resource for using CuteSITE Builder is KW's Support Site: http://kwsupport.com/csb From there, I did a search for the word "excel" and it kicked out this tutorial at the top of the list: http://www.kwsupport.com/demo20/index.htm Hope this helps!
  22. Cheryl, Send an email to tony@totalchoicehosting.com Let him know of your trouble getting into the helpdesk. He should be able to get you fixed up right away.
  23. Oh, "adds" like addresses? Yes, you can do that easily with Horde. Open Horde and click Addresses. Click Import/Export on the toolbar. Select Outlook from the first drop list. Browse to and select your outlook.pst file on your local drive. Click Import Watch the progress bar (it may take a while if your outlook file is very large). Then when it's done: Sorry, I don't have the step by step, but from memory - You will need to 'map' the outlook fields to the fields you want to use in the Horde address book. Like "Last Name" = "Last" and "First Name" = "First" and "Email1 Address" = "Email" And so on. Yell if you have problems.
  24. Check this out: http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/help/id98.htm Maybe that will help you out with Squirrelmail installs.
  25. Please welcome onboard our newest Technical Support Services team member, Mitch (aka cerealkeeler). We look forward to working with Mitch and know that he will offer a lot to the clients of TCH.
