1. Yes, your email traffic is a part of the comprehensive total for your package. 2. There are no limits on individual email size with the exception of the size of your package quota/email setup quota. Example, if you get a plan here that only supports a total disk space of 10MB and you are expecting a 12MB file attachment on an email, it ain't gonna fly. See? Also then, as you set up email addresses through cPanel, you have the ability to limit (set quota) for each account. If you have a plan here with 100MB and set up an email account with a quota of 10MB, you're still in the same boat with the 12MB file. However, you can change the quota for your mail account to 20MB and then be covered. See again? Last, all mail that remains on the server and not deleted after download by your mail client counts against that email account's quota...so if you have 2MB of emails in your inbox on the server then you only have 8MB of your quota remaining if it was set to 10 initially. (10MB is the default setting when creating a new mailbox.) 3. For webmail interfaces, you can choose to use a secure connection, yes. Happy hunting and thanks for considering TCH!

Hey Deb. Did you take a look at aMember? That's exactly what aMember does. Even to the extent that it handles the payment process and tracking as well or you can manually update a person's 'subscription'. Based on what you've said here, I have to say aMember is your better answer than the one that you listed. Also, it is FREE. You can purchase the Pro version for like $100 and get all the neat features that come with that, but the freebie one is fairly substantially built and has loads of features. Is there a reason you see that you do not want to use it? Let me know. I'll happily get aMember installed on your site and help you set it up.

Also, this UserGuide page might help. Shammer...I dunno. I haven't used cgiemail. I use a form mailer that's built into CuteSITE Builder. Anybody have cgiemail working and can share with us?

I saw all the links at the bottom. Of course you can use the spin logo! (Thanks still to Thomas for that little creation.) And, I love your avatar here!

...and if you need help with aMember install or setup, please let me know. (It's awesome!)

Hello, There has been a security hole found that allows formail to be used by unauthorized persons. In effect allowing spam to be sent from your domain. This hole is found in the following scripts. formmail.cgi FormMail.cgi FormMail-clone.cgi formmail.pl FormMail.pl We are disabling the following built in cPanel Scripts on all our servers effective the time of this email. formmail.cgi FormMail.cgi FormMail-clone.cgi formmail.pl FormMail.pl If your site is using any of the above, you will need to make changes to your web space and utilize a different email script. You may use the built in cgiemail, as this has not been identified as a problem. This action is being done to prevent the unauthorized use of our servers.

Ah, probably not the really cheap stuff, eh?

Ok, here's my adventure away from safe little back-woods Missouri. "What's 1664?" This big ol' world and little ol' me.

Sam, Try Trillian by Cerulean Studios for IM. You can simultaneously connect to MSN, Y!, AIM, IRC, ICQ accounts using one slick little interface. And no spy-ware or popups attached! Best: it's free! (I have the paid version so I can use some cool addins.) ...slapem.wav... I love that one!

Mav, you don't have to cross post here. Nice thing about this family is that pretty much everybody reads every post no matter which forum the post is in. While I think that this is probably the more appropriate forum for the post, I've already responded to the other one..... so let's let this one kill over and everybody else with input, please go to the other post. Thanks!

Yes, it's possible. Another user, together with HG's superb brilliance, were able to get a form based webmail login. I know that is here in the forums. Let me look for it in a bit and get you a link. Probably won't address EXACTLY what you want but it will at least get you in the right ballpark.

Mitch rocks!

Sam, I could set you up a test account on my reseller plan so that you can try it out and make sure that everything will work ok. You still have my email address? If not, register on these forums and send me a PM if you're interested.

SAM????? Hey Stranger! You keeping those boys in line over at the CSB boards? Well, I guess you figured out this is where the gang landed. C'mon join us, eh?

Yme369 - *YAY* Rick's a good guy, huh? hmm. Let's not ruin his reputation. (Joking, Rick! Everybody knows you ROCK!) jimzdat - *YAY* PN has a ton of adds too! I particularly like the calendar and the ability to create more than one category with each having their own icon/image. All's right in the world.

Posting here is fine, but I do seem to recall in another thread somewhere that someone found a nifty analysis tool that can handle that raw file..... ......hmmm. Now I gotta go look fer it.

Oh MY God, that is DISGUSTING! (This from the girl that drank 151 spiked wine coolers and homemade punch from every clear liquor in the cabinet.) Ah to be young and stupid again. Now where did I put that espresso machine and my Hershey's syrup?

matt and KW, Check out this one. ....ah, best of both worlds! I got one for my brother-in-law for Christmas as his digital cam is SD. He loves that he now has a card reader and portable memory (the size that fits on a keychain).

Best advice that i can possibly give is to do a search on this forum for the word: search and posted by user: dsdemmin. I know that sounds funny, but particularly, look for postings from Scott. He's a master of the search engines and his post will be of great interest and value to you!

Hey, no stupidity unless you want to lump me into that category too! Was about a month ago that I too tried to install phpNuke on my own....NO GO! I must have worked on it for 9 hours before I bailed. Now, I'm not stupid, but I had absolutely no luck getting the darn thing to go. There has to be a trick to it that I was missing and couldn't track down. Anyway, shortly after that HG added phpNuke to the Addon Scripts. It should be on 5, if you click Add on Scripts in cPanel, it should list phpNuke. Let me know here if it does not. As to my demise....I went with PostNuke. It was the EASIEST install of ANY app that I'd ever done. Point, Click, Shoot. Done. I love it.

Mr. Bill... If you use the CODE button on the forum reply form, you should be able to insert the code without it being *translated*. Like: (Clicking the CODE button...) ><http://www.greatfolios.com> (Clicking the CODE button again now to close the tag...) It worked!

I've moved this to a more appropriate forum (was in Open Discussions). Hope nobody got lost.
