  1. The stupidest thing eh ? Well I was just reading all my blogs subscriptions in good ol' Feeddemon, suddenly the computer just shuts down. I reboot and Windows says: "Keyboard Error, press any key to continue"
  2. Work fine for me too !
  3. Well its now in the form of an extention, PageRank for Firefox http://pagerankstatus.mozdev.org/
  4. Finally a spell checker for Firefox that does work and doesn't involve hacking etc. http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/
  5. Window and Office XP are referred to as 2002, on the packaging here anyways they're called XP 2002 !
  6. MT/Typepad users must be familiar with Typelists. Typelists are basically a fancy way of replicating what many plugins do. Typelists would allow you to eg. create a reading list by just entering the ISBN number of a book and having all its details displayed from Amazon, or a link list where all the user needs to do is enter the URI and everything else is displayed. Well, I'm very ambitious and armed with my very little knowledge of perl and apis, I'm thinking of setting out to create and plugin for Movable Type that will model this ! I have posted on my blog about this subject http://blog.arvind-satya.com/archives/2004/07/typelists.php and believe me I understand the immensity of the project. However I need as many ideas as possible - ideas on how I could tackle this, what it would contain etc. ! Thanks !!
  7. Heh yanno I say Wp as well - but only install it for your friend if they'ves got good knowledge of PHP. I've sat and confused myself with WP. MT does allow 1 author 3 blogs for free and the license that applies to you is the license at the time of downloading the copy. You can still download MT 2.661 but the 1 author 3 blogs still applies.
  8. What about international users ?
  9. Another Internet worm exploits flaws in IIS and again affects Windows Users. Leo Laporte wrote a nice summary on his blog http://leo.typepad.com/tlr/2004/06/friday_flash.html It is recommended that you turn off java etc. unless it is crucial. If you run Zone Alarm goto the Privacy tab and turn on Mobile Code protection (down by the bottom) I've been told that should protect you !
  10. Thunderbird for me About Incredimail, its just not worth it ! Although the mail of today is getting more and more storage space (Yahoo 100MB~2GB GMail 1GB etc.) Incredimail creates massive emails !
  11. http://texturizer.net/firefox/ is an excellent website for Tips & Tricks, extensions, themes and whatnot for Firefox. For 0.9 compatible extensions see http://www.extensionsmirror.nl/index.php?showtopic=284 . To find new extensions and themes that are compatible with 0.9 and I think are the ones tha tare downloaded if you hit the update button http://update.mozilla.org/

  22. Ok Jikrantz just told me a weird thing where he got an email from my hotmail but more like 8080/message/msn/myhotmailemail Doing a bit of research I found out that this was similar to the osi code and wanted to know if anyone had any clues as to wtf might be going on. I've currently running NAV 2004 and Spybot scans to see, also going to change the password on my Hotmail !
  23. that's odd accessing http://66.235.184.119/cpanel I get a login prompt !
  24. Nothing really on TCH apart from the fact that if you decide to install it into the cgi-bin u'll have to start using staticwebpath and it makes life hell. Installing it into the public_html folder I say is the much better options for newbies and will quickly get you on your feet as urls and stuff is much easier !
