You don't do it through the admin. You should have controls when reading posts as a moderator to move threads to other areas of your forum. It's been forever since I've moderated a phpBB board but the moderation controls in Invision are in the post threads themselves.

In the new X theme, select the Mail icon. At the bottom of the page that appears select Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry) Hope that helps.

Where is the file you are wanting to upload? If it's on your PC then CuteFTP has a way where you can script an FTP session. Once that is done, using Windows XP scheduler you schedule the session for what ever time of day you want it to run.

Just a guess but it sounds like an authentication problem or your provider is blocking port 25 and/or 26. You don't specify what port you have set up for out going so I am just guessing. As for the test account function in Outlook it rarely works.

I am not sure that you can. I could be wrong. You could open a ticket with the help desk and ask them. But the instructions are simple enough for creating them in cPanel. See the movie tutorial

Well, I guess I should look into this before giving any more answers. I have never used it and all I have is a personal gmail account. Looks like Jason knows more about it.

To access gmail you goto gmail.google.com/gmail it is not associated with your domain. You can withing GMail set your return address to be your domain name which when email sent back to you will be forwarded from the TCH server back to GMail.

The .htaccess file must be writable while you are installing the plugin. This is not uncommon for some PHP programs or plugins. Once you have the plugin installed and working you can change the permissions back to 644. I installed the plugin a long time ago so I don't remember but once active and validated and working changing it will have no effect. When WP upgrades they usually make you change the .htaccess file for mod-rewrites. I change my .htaccess permissions, apply the changes and change the permissions back.

Cpanel Redirects And Google Page Ranking
TCH-Bruce replied to ramone_kalsaw's topic in Web Site Promotion
I switched one site from .htm to .php and added permanent redirects and did not lose any page rankings. I moved a second domain to a new name and I've been lost in the search engines ever since. -

Hey Bob, welcome to the forums. Sorry for missing it my response. Thanks for the info. I had always set them up separately. -
