  2. Jim, great find. People, please make a backup of your current .htaccess file before making any changes. You can shut down your site pretty easily with a simple mistake in this file. *** YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ***
  3. Please open a ticket with the help desk and provide all info requested. They will get you sorted out.
  4. Mrs Muddled please try it again.
  5. Bam, please try it again.
  6. You cannot link to the bluelagoon theme. Try this: 'http://www.thegrinder.ws:2082' by itself
  7. I got a call from them yesterday. I told the woman I maintain the domain names myself and wasn't giving her any information. Then I thanked her for the call and hung up. No need to stoop to their level.
  8. Submit a ticket with the guys IP address to see if it is being blocked.

  10. Erin, you posted a similar question here and were answered with links to other threads that would help. I would also recommend reading some books on getting a web site up and running. The "Dummies..." books are very good and I used them when I got started. We all have to start somewhere. You can also find more infomation on the FTP help page including a link to a movie tutorial. Hope that helps. Also, please read the forum guidelines about cross posting (posting the same question in multiple forums).

  16. The only thing the help desk can do is reprovision the account. Taking it back to a brand spanking new account. They have no idea what files are required for what you have installed. And the help desk does not support third party programs. If Fantastico is not properly uninstalling things, that is a problem with Fantastico and up to them to clean it up.
  17. That's why I said to create a subdomain and not create the folder first. Creating a subdomain will create the folder.
  18. You would need a graphics program like Paint Shop Pro or Adobe Illustrator.
  19. And be sure to deactivate all your plugins before upgrading.
  20. Dan, I am not familiar with Coppermine but I am sure that it's possible. I just don't know what you need to change in the configuration or .htaccess file for it to function that way.
