  1. I would double check that you did this step correctly.
  2. Check the connections and make sure they are tight. Next, swap out the monitor and make sure it's not the video card.
  3. Glad we could help
  4. Welcome to the forums Todd
  5. Welcome to the forums escolar Sure it's not a monitor problem? Mine render in color.
  6. Welcome to the forum rafl206 By default 2MB it can be modified in the .htaccess file
  7. Have you tried un-installing the module and re-installing it?
  8. I think the FrontPage Tutorial page will help you out.
  9. Because the mods are volunteers here and don't have access to server configurations. If you have a specific server related question the help desk is the place to ask it.
  10. Your smtp server is mail.yourTCHaccount.ext and you can use port 25 or 26.
  11. I don't let Wordpress update my .htaccess automatically. I always copy/paste the permalink info into it manually.
  12. I had the VIC 20 and quickly upgraded to the C64 and then an Executive C64, the one that had the 5-inch color screen. Never got a 128 and jumped to PCs shortly after.
  13. I also started with a 300 baud modem but I had a Commodore 64. I also ran a BBS but much later, it was a PowerBBS board.
  14. The server number will not change unless you move to a different server.
  15. Set your mail server to what you posted there or purchase your own certificate. That's the only way I know of.
  16. Take a look at hotscripts.com. I'm sure you can find something there useful.
  17. Welcome to the forum, calvertb
  18. There is no such thing as 100% uptime. As Wayne put it there are other factors to consider. I googled for the heck of it to see what some of these other companies that say they have 100% uptime guarantee and here are a couple of the results. I will not include any names. If you want the names you can google yourself. Here is another. 100% uptime guarantee but it will take up to 4 hours for them to get to you. I think that should about cover it.
  19. My mistake you do have a 40GB drive. 25GB is free.
  20. It appears that you have an 80GB hard drive in your computer. You can buy a much larger drive at a minimal cost But you can also use the same drive to store photos, music, etc... and not have them stored on your internal hard drive.
  21. Backing up to the same hard drive as you are running from is great for temporary storage. But if you hard drive crashes, what good is it? You won't be able to access the backup if you can't access the hard drive in the first place. USB flash drives are also great for making backups. Problem with USB flash drives is getting one large enough to accomodate what you are backing up. If you have more than 2GB of stuff you want backed up it will get quite expensive. Was in Best Buy today and saw a 4GB flash drive for $149. I could get an external USB hard drive of 120GB for the same price. As for can you plug a USB hard drive into the front of your computer, yes, you can as long as you have a USB port in the front. Burning compressed files to a CD is no different than burning any other file to a CD.
  22. You should be able to configure it as an email client using IMAP or POP protocols. Check out the Lotus Wiki for more information.
  23. That's what I told him!
