You do not have to purchase the certificate through TCH. You can purchase anywhere and have TCH install it for you and only pay the installation fee. And you will have to pay the installation fee every year.

You are correct. There are limits to the amount of emails you can send. Using Dada or phplist you will still have to batch your mailings to work within the limits in place. If you need to know the limits, please open a ticket with the help desk and do not discuss them in the open forums.

You would have no problems installing that CMS package on the TCH servers. You upload the tar file and extract it using the File Manager in cPanel. No shell access required.

Welcome to the forums freedonchild I don't use joomla so I am not sure what you need to do. The error indicates that the index.php file does not exist in that directory path.

Are you forwarding to comcast or aol? If you are they will constantly be deleted. If not open a ticket with the help desk and ask them to check you account.

I feel your pain, I too was forwarding to a comcast account on one of my domains. Not for myself mind you. But just creating an account for the user and having them POP it was no problem.

There is no file size limit for sending.... For security, you could create a password protected folder and provide the user/passord combination to download from the link you provide. As for people not knowing how to download files using a link in an email, why not educate them? These are the same people that are probably opening attachments from people they don't know and getting infected with virus and trojan files. As I said, TCH imposes no limit on the size of sending an attachment.

Just download the folders from your old provider and upload them to your TCH space using an FTP program. You will have to contact your old host and find out where they are on their system. Once you have them upload them to the mail folder for your email address.

There is no limit on the size of sending an attachment for your account. However sending large files via email is absurd (IMO). Upload the file to your webspace and send a link to who ever to download it. You are correct, ISP's normally have limits for attachments. Some good reasons for not sending large attachments. 1. It does not clog up the email servers either here at TCH or on the receiving end. 2. More and more ISP's are blocking large attachments 3. Depending on the extension of the file being attached it may be stripped off. You cannot send an attachment with .exe extension from the TCH servers and most ISP's block attachments with an .exe extension. 4. Not everyone is on a high-speed internet connection. Sending someone on dial-up a 10MB attachment is just going to piss them off.
