  1. You should already have a config.php file on the server. They do not include one in the installation package. If they did it would over write the one you have which contains information on how to connect to the database the package uses. Pointing your browser at the config.php file should not report anything. If it did others could find out your database name, user name and hack your site. You can open a ticket with the help desk, link at top of page or in my signature and see if one of the techs can help you install the update.
  2. Al, glad you got it sorted out.
  3. See if this gets you going. Upgrading an Existing System. BTW, the version in my Fantastico is 2.0.4 which isn't that old.
  4. Thanks Carb
  5. Bob is correct. The mods have no access to the servers or your account information. So if you are having an issue the best way to get it resolved is through the help desk. If it's a problem installing a piece of software or general help we can help you in the forums or one of the other family members can.
  6. I am sorry you are having difficulty with tech support but the preferred method of requesting help is via the help desk.
  7. At the default settings nothing you should be getting that is legitimate will be blocked. And if you find that something is blocked you can white list it. But you should really set your default address to :fail: which will eliminate 80% or better the messages you are getting.
  8. Sorry, not familiar with .asp pages
  9. Have you tried looking at the page with Firefox and viewing source with it?
  10. Welcome to the forums aftershock80 Can you connect it to a monitor so you can get it booted to change the settings back? Most laptops have a ctrl-key + another key that cycle through the LCD and external monitor. Have you tried that to see if the screen comes back on?
  11. Well my camera isn't good enough to capture a single snowflake so this will have to do. We had our first snowfall of the season. This is what it looked like in the work parking lot this morning. I'm sure there are a bunch of single snowflakes in there. Let's see some forest rain.
  12. Help Desk Click that link and select Submit Ticket. Do not try to log in. In the fields you don't have the information for enter N/A as Thomas says. We cannot resolve this in the forums.
  13. Sorry I failed to mention that you don't have to create an account to create a forward email address. But Andy covered it. As for email clients, Thunderbird's rule filtering works great.
  14. Well, what I do is when I sign up for anything is create a forward and send it to my personal account. Then when I start receiving spam at that address I just delete the forward. I use my email client to filter my email into different folders based on the email address it's coming too. Much easier to manage and only one connection to the server to get my email.
  15. Why do you have eleven email accounts that you are checking?
  16. Can you reinstall it under your profile? Sounds like it was damaged somehow.

    Virus?

Welcome to the forum prgdod Follow Thomas' instructions and you should elimanate a good number of them.
  18. Jeren, that would be true to both parts. Todd, glad they got you fixed up.
  19. Sorry, no Hummer picture. Let's see if we can get it going again. Show me a hummingbird.
  20. They can also set it up as other IMAP service. I use a PDA to check my email and use IMAP for the connection. The server name remains the same as does the email address and password for checking.
  21. Have you tried sending messages in plain text? With no stationery?
  22. Certainly sounds annoying to me. Hope they find a fix for you soon.
