i think the problem has to deal the booting and not the monitor because the drive light flashes for maybe 2 seconds and then doesn't do anything? but i will try to plug it in to an lcd screen.

I just got this notebook, and after changing some power saving settings the note book won't start. it starts to boot but the screen never comes on and only the number lock light stays on. i pulled the memory and put it back in, but still no change. any suggestions?
