Sorry that would require a Windows based dedicated server of which we have none available at the moment. We provide Windows based servers on a very limited basis and even then you would have to maintain something like MS Exchange on your own.

Try it now and check your FTP passwords. Your IP was blocked for numerous failed attempts to log in to FTP.

Help! Somebody Stole My Domain Name!
TCH-Dick replied to Mish's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
The person that snagged your domain was not using a simple monitoring service. These people have made a living doing this and 99% of them use their own custom scripts. Here is a copy of a recent article I read in the magazine Business 2.0. It gives you a good look into how they accomplish this and why they do it. -
We have already begun testing cPanel11 in anticipation of the stable release and we will not make the move until they release a stable version. As Mike and heyguy were saying there is no firm date and this latest release date is the third delay since they have been publishing the cPanel11 release schedule.

At least you don't have to remember them all

TCHStatus.com has been updated and I want to thank everyone for their patience as we make the move to our new Data Center. We have now made changes to the status pages that will allow for easier maintence, therefore, these pages will be updated daily as we continue the data center migration. The most noticeable change you will see is that the network status and uptime stats have been combined into one page. You can view our entire server farm on this page or select only your server for more information. If you are unsure what server you are hosted you can check that at http://www.tchstatus.com/whatsmyserver.php Thanks

Routing Issues At Tch Noc
TCH-Dick replied to TCH-Andy's topic in TCH Data Centers General Announcements
Please submit a ticket as the server your site is hosted on was not affected by this issue. -
Dreamweaver will only upload the files to the location they are stored in your local copy or "Site". Let's take /wordpress-2.2/index.php in your local site, if you make changes to this page and then "put" it to your site it will stay in /wordpress-2.2 unlesss you select "Save As" and select a new option. This is most likely what you are seeing occur. If you want to do this via Dreamweaver, you should first copy all the files from the directory wordpress-2.2 to the root of your local Site then upload via Dreamweaver. The only other option would be to do as heyguy said and grab a full-blown FTP client.

It is a system limitation that we can not change.

We have never charged $4.50 for our starter plan, the monthly rate is $4.00 and you are on the annual billing cycle, which comes to $3.67 a month. You should also contact the billing department concerning your account status as overdue accounts were suspended this morning. -
It should be the same as your cPanel username and pass. If you need it reset please submit a ticket and we can assist.
-
We currently have no plans to change our notification process, however, we appreciate the feedback and will take it into consideration.

Yes, with your current issue 2 days is normal. We have responded to your ticket as we have progressed, however, we are dealing with outside parties for whom we have no control. At approximately 2:30 PM EST we lost power to the data center due to a lightning strike and were forced to switch to backup power. Power has now been restored and all services are back online. Thank your for your patience and please open a ticket if you have any issues.

We provide temporary access to your site via IP/~username. Just make sure you use relative links and do not hard code the IP into your site. Check your welcome email for details to access your site before propagation.

Possible Ill Or Dead Laptop Hard Drive
TCH-Dick replied to limestone_cowboy's topic in Hardware Corner
I have been down the same road with my Dell and the beep codes you received is not your standard BIOS beep code. You will notice that the beep code matches the last part of the error code you received. This code is telling you that there were errors with the Disk Self Test and 99% of the time this is due to a bad drive. -
You're Welcome, and while you should list the name servers is order, that was not the issue. The zone file that controlled the local delivery of email for your account was corrupted. So I rebuilt the zone file and restarted the mail service. Thanks for being patient while we tracked down the issue and let us know if you need anything else.
-
Can you please test your email again and if the problem is still there just update your ticket.
-
Your form needs is being processed by the script contactform2.php. If you longer have a copy of this file, then just open a ticket to the desk and we can check for a backup.

Open public_html/phpBB2/db/mysql4.php and locate the following code >function sql_db($sqlserver, $sqluser, $sqlpassword, $database, $persistency = true) and change it to >function sql_db($sqlserver, $sqluser, $sqlpassword, $database, $persistency = false) that should fix the problem.
-
Sorry but that's not something we will install on our shared servers, you will need a dedicated solution for that.

Sorry for the delay but the billing department gets very busy this time of year. I have activated your new account and your welcome email has been sent. I would also like to offer a bit of advice for all existing customers, if you already have an existing account with us you do not have to go through the verification process. If you have an existing account in Modernbill then you can just add your new purchase to your billing account. If you are unsure were your account is billed from just submit a ticket to the billing department. Once again, I am sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.
