Thx. That's alright : - There are plenty of more-secure alternatives to the original formmail. - The cpanel stats packages are all pretty lame. Perhaps AWstats is the best, but if I wanted anything useful I'd process the raw log through an external analyzer. Apparently TCH dropped shell access too - I'm just surprised they had it in the first place.

My current (cpanel-based) host has just done this : and this They seem to be completely incompetent - their way of solving problems is to ban or disable the facility with no notice and concern whatsoever for customers - even if like mailman it's a standard part of cpanel. So, I'm now looking for a less clueless host. Any danger of this sort of thing happening here if I move?
